I am working on it!

Check out these last two...

Somango:
Chem4-intent.jpg

Chem 4 OG:
Somango-intent.jpg

All of my plants totally fell over from bud density, mostly in the last week or two.

I am finishing up the Chem 4 and then Somango will end the harvest.

Pics to follow.

Good luck with your harvest.

LOVE how green your leaves are at harvest. To many people buy into the "yellow plants at harvest is normal"

The somango looks super tasty, those buds remind me of a green candy kush i grew, like golf balls everywhere. Yours look rock hard. Enjoy the harvest my friend and be sure to share your smoke reports :)

Hello all,

Well, it is done.

I am going to dump a ton of photos here, and then I will
try to add sensible captions.

I took them from the front to the back.

The AK and PurpleBerry yielded very little, but this was expected.

The harvest was taken as hanging branches and also with the buds cuts
off and onto drying racks.

The hanging buds are some of the Qrazy Train, all of the Deadhead OG
pheno 2, the Chem 4 OG, and the Somango:

This is the strongest of the Qrazy Train tops. This is where I am sure that
I did not give these ladies all the food they could have used. The buds are
good, but I am sure that this top should have filled in better:

It is lovely stuff though:

The Chem 4 OG blows me away. Yes, it was the "string of pearls" that I expected, but these
ping-pong balls are dense! Very lovely plant. A new mother is saved.

Take care,

P.S. I do think that I will just make a Crop #5 thread in Indoor Soil, as
the image limits of a journal cramp my style. (tho I will maintain both).

P.P.S. I should add that after a few plants my standards dropped drastically
and I ended up with 2.8 pounds of leaves, larf, trim, and small buds.

Very lovely bud porn my friend. Gives a new meaning to the phrase "sticky fingers" after doing the wet trim I bet lol. Congrats on a successful harvest.

After seeing your end result, are you going to tweak anything? I always seem to find tweaks when I harvest for next times harvest, would love to hear yours?

Stay lit my friend,

papa

I think the chem 4 is my favorite looking one, I love the bud structure on it. Looks like the calyxes are swollen to the max and hard as rocks.

HARD. The densest nugs I have grown, I am sure.

Thanks Papa. I appreciate the good word.

The thing that I will tweak first is to either come up with a
good screen-per-bucket, or to use however many long sticks
as necessary to support each branch.

This is to say that the main issue of this crop was the one
huge screen that filled the tent. This prevented me from taking
plants out. I could not get to the back plants much at all.

One end result was that I am pretty sure that I raised some
of my ladies on what turned out to be a lean feeding schedule.

For one thing, several of the strongest plants were quite light
when I took them out. This is my favorite method of really knowing
if a plant is thirsty...to pick it up...but I could not do that.

I am very excited to taste these, and to start the nest grow.

Did you see my raped, uh mainlined, Kosher Kush? It is already making
the next nodes.

I will post smoke reports and eventually a link to my next Crop.

It will be cool:
Skywalker OG Kush
Kosher Kush
Headband
Purple Wreck
OG Kush
OG #18
Cannaventure Mothers Mix X 5 (reg)
LA Confidential
Sensi Jack Herer X 2 (reg)
Sensi Blueberry (reg)
Cannaventure Purpleberry BX X 2 (reg)
Blue OG

Take care,

JD

 Incredible harvest JD. Love the Somango so much, she is just amazing. I have to agree that the Chem4 looks outstanding. She is a definite keeper I think! Looks so dense. Props mate, I am always so impressed by your work. +Rep when I can. Peace.

Thanks Beech.

The Somango and the Chem 4 OG were the highlights of this grow.

One of the Deadhead phenos was really very nice, and I hope that
it smokes well. The Qrazy Train is delicious. No worries there.

The PurpleBerry pheno is honestly yucky tasting and weak, and
the AK, while strong, is not very flavorful. These two breeds
are leaving the mothers pool.

Recall that I did pop 2 more PB BX beans, along with regular beans of
Sensi BB and Jack Herer as well as the five reg beans of the Cannaventures
Mothers Mix.

So, I may still get a good PB pheno.

On the other hand, anyone doing the math knew that I had popped
more beans that I had room for in the tent. It looks like the Mothers
mix and the PB BX females, if there are any, will have to be part of the next
crop. ...this makes me want to mainline them like crazy, as they are
going to get 3 months to Veg....

I will be starting a new thread, and will post a URL here, probably tonight.

Take care,

JD

Hey,

I wanted to add a note that I jumped on four packs of beans
from Breeder's Boutique.

I contacted Lemon King to get his advice on the best Lemon breeds.
LOL, this was a very good idea, as he very generous with his advice,
listing breeds from the ill-never-be-that-lucky category (The Las Vegas
Lemon Skunk) all the way down to stuff readily available.

One of them was a pheno of "Lemon Pledge" pheno of Psycho Killer.

So, long story short, after he got me a 50% off code, I got four packs.

PK, The Dog (VERY happy about that one), Sour Cherry, and Smelly Cherry.

I am clearly looking for flavors for an upcoming Crop.

I already have:

Humboldt Seed Organisation Lemon Juice Express
Humboldt Seed Organisation Lemon Thai Kush
Green House Seeds Super Lemon Haze

So many nice breeds, so few tents (1).

JD

P.S. I used to get a quarter from my Mom for dusting the house.
We used Lemon Pledge. LOL It is a fact that Olfactory memories
can be strong, and LP basically defined "lemon" for a kid just as
the Wild Cherry Sucrets defined "cherry". :0)

I have lemon larry in veg right now, and if you harass the stems, its super lemony. One of my contacts grows lemon amnesia by barney farms but it smells more citrus, but he doesn't have the best example of that strain

I asked over on my thread, but I think it got buried. What types of fungi are you growing? Like edibles or psychedelics? I have ordered psychedelic spores online prob 5 times and never actually got the dang spores.

Oh, I grow everything that I can get my hands on, including wild finds.

I can send you a print.....for microscopy, of course.

I need to put together packages for two other members anyway.
