whats up all !!....here to get my lil grow thang out. i'm going on my sixth week vegging. have had some yellowing on lower leaves but thats all. at the moment i have 9-26watt daylite bulbs on 6 plants, all bagseed from 2 different bags but both pretty good.

the 2 different types of plants i'm getting are a "perky, bushy & thick" type & a fat, saggy ass with big leaves. any thoughts on type ?

i haven't lined or painted the inside of the grow area yet, i plan on doing this during the weekend & then start flowering. my grow area is very small, its only 3'L x 1 3/4w x 4'H, the plants range from 7" to 9". i'm using hyponex potting soil from wal-mart...under $1 for 1o pounds, started mg houseplant food (8-7-6) in week 4 but think i'm gonna stop now & go natural...lol...will post pics if i can figure out how, not the best but you'll get a good look !....oh, i'm watering with distilled water & haven't been testing anythig, temp or ph levels...just "growin" for it !!!

"saggy and perky" I hope that won't be there permanet names? lol

Any way... have you thought of going with a scrog style of grow? it would be nice in that amount of space.

However, I wouldn't scrog until you know you have sexed them first.

well, i gave the lil 1's about 36 hours of darkness & they had a growth spurt ! used foil to line my grow area...i know everyone saya not to use foil but its all i had rite now....bout some 42 watt bulbs...soft white so for now i havesix lights on six plants, i know not nearly enough-gonna get bout 4 more in a few days then in the upcoming weeks pick up more to light the sides & bottom.

here are a few pics of the youngins...lol

aside from th growth spurt during the 36 hours of darkness, i noticed that the leaves on the plants of the perkier nature had gotten a deeper darker green. is this something normal, like because of the lack of light or should i be concerned ? the saggy type plants already had dark green leaves. the all seem to be ok....a lil yellowing on the tips of the leaves on the lower portion of the plant is still occuring.

well here are the pics i promised...a day late !...lol...anyway, still trying to get a handle on what ever problem i'm having here...not the best pics but you can still see the curling up & or down of the leaves. the 1's thet were dying, dry & very yellow i took off & threw away so i can monitor what happens next alot better. they look a lil scrawny from the missing leaves.

any & all help is appreciated !

looking pretty damn good, except thecurling downward usually means overwatering, but ur plants look ok hope they rebound, mines near death a week into flowering 3 weeks old total
