Has anyone here done a run of the same cross but reversed parents. I have Chem D x GSC and GSC x Chem D, as well as TK × T1000 and T1000 × TK. Are there any general ideas between the differences that may or may not occur when you reverse the parents? Has anyone grown both BBWs to see a difference?

i also have both the TK x T1000 and TK1K, and had the same thought, I was so curious that i messaged Nspecta on IG to ask and he didnt reply lol. Im sure his inbox is flooded so i just moved on

glad to know all these years later it isn't just me. I just had 3 dud ghost rider ogs, for what its worth i just had 5 or 6 dud ITre as well. both from neptune, prob there too long to be properly cared for. those two and a few old packs of obs have been the only notable non germs, even then I've run plenty of other things from those same breeders no issue.

Who has experiences with the 4 big packs and can tell me why I should or shouldn't start with Chem D?

There is a lot of variation within that Chem d. I found a couple really nice and a couple I just turned into extract. But that big bad wolf version 1 I had 2 friends pop and it was really hard to choose what to keep. They were all fire

Csi is one dude I respect for treating his costumers with all the best respect but also having legit cuts his using and his very giving to direct costumers . I’ve ran 10 strains so far and found nothing but adventure and legit stuff. You can’t expect everything gems/keepers obvious;y but u def can see the profiles of the cuts . for the price and what he crosses it’s def one breeder I’m always interested in running. Next round I’m planning on doing Durban Poison x T1000 & Forbidden Fruit x TK
Last round I ran mendo purps x Forbidden Fruit. Not only was that some of the best tasting stuff I’ve had but it’s such a complex tropical flavor. every pheno was similiar in flavor but half of em were green and rest were super pure purple buds. Big ol 2 liters too

from my experience from the chemdawg line I always find the chem 91 to be more hermie prone 1st time ran in seed form , however the 4 packs that had 91 from csi all did this but once balls removed and clone/2nd run they never showed up again and the pheno’s were good. Just a lil warning like some pheno’s of many favored strains they def will do that and for me and those 91s showed balls at 2 weeks in-5th weeks On high % of 91. Sucks but still doable

I wouldn't start with the S1's if u want decent flower sooner as opposed to later since 30-40% of S1's are not good.

Big Bad Wolf 2.0, transplanted into 1 gal pots on 7/21. I asked some folks about the weird leaf coloring on the one in the middle one and was told that some inbred strains, specifically the Chem D exhibit something called variegation. As I understand, it's a pigment mutation of chlorophyll (more like boreophyll)

Yeah, next time better off buying 3 or 4 packs of S1's to give you a real good chance of finding something even better than the cut.

Not too worried about that. As much as I would love to do so, if I'm going to spend that much money, I'll just buy a cut. I'm happy getting to some of the progeny and roll the dice on quality.

Let me tell you from my experience with Bubblegum S1 from CSI....I've had 2 seeds that were run....1st run was all pine inhale; all Bubblegum exhale....shit was outstanding; more Bubblegum flavor than I've ever had in weed....and fairly potent; but not crazy potent....
2nd run...more fruity tasting; still decent potency....very nice stuff.
That's 2 out of 2 seeds bringing something really nice.
He says his Chem D S1s can throw better phenos than the mom and even some sour ones....I'd 100% buy any of csi s1s.
It's breeders that S1 and then don't do any further work where you end up with tons of shitty stuff.
Csi has the best S1s you can get imo.

Mate, a reversal is a reversal. Doesnt matter who physically does it. The Chem 91 S1's from CSI, for example, have quite a few negative reviews. It's all genetics. There's no breeding involved in selfing elite cuts you've sourced.
