Exactly. That CTU certificate is a joke. They just want $247 to give you access to some electronic documents whose content is available for free all over the internet. If you showed up at an interview for an entry level minimum wage job working the counter at a dispensary with some CTU certificate you printed off the internet they'd laugh you out of the building.
You can however earn an actual bachelors degree online through many real Universities. I've contemplated working on a Bachelors in Horticulture from Oregon State University which has a very robust program. But at $318 a credit that's $57,000 dollars for a piece of paper that I would likely never use.
