Curing for a year!

im gonna cure some until that shit turns gold i heard of acapolco gold but never seen any gold weed. Would b interesting to see.

i wonder if the reason that it turns colors is because thats the color that THC turns when it degrades to another chemical CBD or CBM.
 
Well you guys and gals. I did it. Except its been over 2 years since I've started curing them.
The smell is overwhelming.
The tricombs(sp?) are completely amber, thats probably a bad sign.
The leaves are much smaller
The buds are much bigger.
And I'm going to smoke it December.

I'm not expecting much at all, but anyone have any guesses on what I should be expecting?
I'll post a picture right before I smoke, don't want to let out too much moisture ;-)

i'd expect you to get high. i have a few jars in my closet from 2 and 3 years ago. i smoke a little here and there. :weed:
 
Congrats on waiting it out. .......... if it has been reasonably sealed, you can ever re-hydrate it by placing a fresh or partially dried bud into the jar, within a day ofr less, it will be prefect. hahahah ... like fdd said ... you'll get high ... and it'll be a smooth sweet smoke. my last grow I didn't finish for over a year and a half .... that bud was awesome all the way through.
