when ever i get an ounce of bud it last me about a month or a little more and by the time im to the last of it it has become so much better then it first was. i assume from just curing it longer and longer because all my buds are in air tight jars. anyone else do this? or realize it also

To be honest not really :P I prefer the bud when i first get it because i like the moisture content and it smells more. When i get to the bottom its obviously good but i don't notice it being any more potent or smooth and it usually is more dry/less smell.

But to each their own.

Yes man, it is getting better. You should buy two ounces and save one and just let those buds cure away. Imagine if you left it two months. Beautiful!!

i'm the opposite....i use air tight mason jars for my street bud. i do notice that it stays fresher and doesn't dry out like bagged weed does. but usually by the time i'm finishing and ounce, i don't notice any "added" potency....but rather i feel i've built a tolerance to that bud....that's why i like switching strains every half ounce or so.

But how often are you opening that jar to smoke? You will hopefully tell a difference in the weed after only opening it 3-4 times in a month. The only thing though is if it already has a humidity level of under 59% the bud is too dry and their is little moisture left to be drawn out to help the cure and basically at least in my experience it will not make a difference.

I know my families homegrown weed is way sweetier smelling and tastier after sitting in the jar for over 3 months. Altough it was still kinda green smelling when I got it.
