Started growing some bag seed in my closet a few days ago. I had 6 seeds and they all germinated. Started them in solo cups and am doing 12/12 from seed as i dont have a large space or proper growing environment.

I made a custom CFL light from an old wing reflector and some all weather light sockets. Total of 10 CFL bulbs. 6 2700k 2 5000k 2 6500k all 23w. They broke soil about 4 days ago.

I will be updating this as I have time to show progress and see how well this custom light fixture works.

Currently its about 78 degrees in there and %50 humidity.

I am hoping to get at least 2 females out of the bunch. I dont think I can grow much more than that under this lighting setup.

look nice, just remember to keep them CFLs close, only provide really good strong light at 2-6 inch`s after 10-12" they don't provide much, specially not 23W so keep em short and bushy with the bud sites close to the light ..

p.s.

I hope you made some nice drain holes in them Cup`s ?

Yeah I got some nice drain holes in the cups for sure. its 60/40 mix with black gold soil and perlite. The lights are about 6 inches from the top of the plants right now.

Thanks for the reply's folks!

Been a while since my last update. Life got busy. They are really starting to show flowers now. I only had room for 4 of them. I had to toss the weakest of the bunch. Though they all turned out to be female. I have started feeding them big bloom and tiger bloom as they are into flowering. I feed twice and then flush with PH balanced water. Here are some updated pics as of today.

Update: I have transferred these into their final pots. The rooting is amazing. The flowers are starting to look nice and frosty and they smell great! Had to tie down a few as they were getting way taller than the others.

Looks good man.
i have them same soil.
I was wondering what mix you did with the perlite and soil.
I know you did 60/40 but did you add more permits or more soil.
I will be growing a white rhino bagseed in about 2wks.
But I'm only going to use 150w of cfls.
PC grow hopefully its a female.
Will be using fox farm nutes too.
When did you start your grow big? Fay 4? Or 5?
And at how much strength. I burnt one of my seedlings last grow.
So be careful.
Good luck and I am subbed =P
happy growing.!!
