DA says I have a strike but I didnt plead to a strike. please help

Is a one year sentence to much for sumone with a bad record and a hand to hand sales

i know my history. dont know of a site that lets you know how much time your priors will give you. Im just debating on taking it to trial wich i will lose and get more time but im not going to let them punk me. if its a shitty deal then there going to have to spend there money to prosucute me.
 
i had a add on craiglist like many others do but i wasnt checking cards. stupid mistake. i planed on getting caught eventually and thouht i would just keep my contacts and get a month or so in jail. wrong

if it was me id take the year....you will be kicking yourself in the ass if you go to court and get a bunch of time..all time sucks and believe me i know did 12 years here in tx....good luck

damn time in texas sucks. i did 3 months in elpaso when i was a juvinile. horrible. there not even offering me a year i thought they were and turns out that was the ple that my lawyer put in for and it was denied.

ok i read your other thread.2 is better than 8..they got parole in cali right...its going to suck about your kids...do your time get out and make it up to your kids..i do feel bad for you....theres no easy decision here.....

thats what it looks like to me. i think maybe when they offer me there first deal and i say lets go to trial fuck the time they will offer me one more and i will take it
 
I hardly ever smoke weed. I just started smoking more due to stress and i was high a little while ago just like I am now. I started thinking what if my religion believed that 2012 was the end of time. if the D.A trys to give me over a year couldnt I consider that life? is there a religion that strongly believes 2012 is the end. sounds like sum shit that would be interesting to see in court
