Danks crosses.

whatz up dank bro i finally pollinated my female pv with pv pollen, will that make the strain that much pure or no just the same pv, any way i got u on that thing
 
If it's male female seed from the same parent. it would not increase variation. but there will be different phenotypes if the parents have different phenos.
 
ive got the botany book by clark and its hard to understand i wish they would make a book and make it simpler for people like me to understand, i read about the parents and then haveing f1 and then if they get breed agin its f2 and if u keep backcrossing them it suppose to stablize the traits right, idk
 
the kandykush i just grew where all the same with size looks and everything else does that mean that dna seedbank kept backcrossing the strain to each other over a couple years to make it stable
 
BXing is done with the original parent. So right now for instance. I'm crossing GDP(male) x Trainwreck

then next grow BXing [GDP x Trainwreck] x GDP(original male pollen)
and continue doing this for a few generations until the purple is clearly locked in.

Cool bro! Yeah, if you croosed the 2 with each other your just making it better, and will bring out the "good" traits in that strains.. Lock those good traits down bro.. :mrgreen:
 
From the time I've been working with the strain myself (Purple Voodoo) it seems to be pretty much stable. Everyonce in awhile you'll get a deformed mutant looking seedling.

Well, I know 4 sure that I have 2 new crosses to work with now and stabalize. I crossed the Afghan Kush x Yumbolt & also the Berry Bomb x Grand Daddy Purple (male pollen). You can see the seed production on both really well. I will update with pictures here this eve. So stay tuned for that update guys.. :mrgreen:

*Also, I am going to be working on a new signature cross. Blueberry Yum Yum x Purple Voodoo for "Burple Berry Hoodoo Voodoo". Cross. ;)
 
Oh you mean that tongue twister strain? lol NO. Ended up not using the male. I collected the pollen though. I ended doing our Lost Purple Diesel & Extreme Purple.
