football in england is rough, i agree american football is a tough contact sport, bone crunching neck breakin and so on... but football concurs so nasty injuries as well. david beckam may be a poser but he's done alot of good things like fucking rebecca loose lmao.... na he's a good role model.
I'd like to see usa do better at soccer.

They may say it, but do they know where it came from? Back in the day, there used to be bars but no actual windows in your cell (the glass having been smashed). The bars were just wide enough to get your head through, during conversations if you disliked what someone had to say you told them to wind their neck in.

Window Warrior is another old jail term, because guys are always shouting out of their windows. You might get a guy that's always threatening people but never doing anything about it on the yard the next day. this is a window warrior.

Still cracks me up today, that last one. lol.

Iraq's national football team has arrived back in Baghdad, almost a week after its unexpected victory in the Asian Cup tournament in Indonesia. The government is hosting a welcome-home reception for the players in the heavily fortified Green Zone.
However, several of the team are absent, including the captain, Younis Mahmoud, who said he feared for his life if he returned to celebrate.
The team's victories in the Asian Cup sparked wild celebrations across Iraq.


Iraq beat Saudi Arabia 1-0 in Sunday's final, a victory marked by celebratory gunfire in Baghdad.
However, 50 people died when bombers targeted crowds celebrating victory in the semi-final over former winners South Korea.
Iraq's wins, which included victory over tournament favourites Australia, surprised the football world.
Correspondents say the victory has temporarily united the divided country.
The team includes Sunni and Shia Muslims, as well as Kurds.

the reason we don't like soccer is because it's too slow of a game. not only that, but scoring is too few and far between. plus, if one team has like a 3 point lead with 10 mins. to go, there's no real excitement in that because there's basically no chance for the other team to come back and win at the last second. i've tried to watch soccer on many occasions, but i just can't get into it. i'd rather watch golf. and i hate golf.

You obviously have no clue about football.

Scoring is too far and between only when the US plays, because they are all goalkeepers.

I like how in American Football, you claim to be world champions, when you are the only country entering it. Americans are the best in the world at American Football, lol.

I've watched American Football, and you consider that real football is a slower game? Don't talk wet.

beckham played spanish football and sucked at it. why will he do better here? b/c the players here aren't quite as good. the sport as a whole is great but unfortunately not appealing to the American audience. Beckham isn't that good though. Thierry Henry is the shit and there's no argument against that. Barcelona FC for life.
