they're mushrooms for sure, perfectly safe to eat. pleutorus eryngii mushrooms.
the dealer didn't fuck up, he sold grocery store mushrooms for $90. standard operating procedure in college.

IMHO, you're wrong about ann arbor. i love this town. where else in michigan can you only get a $20 civil infraction for smoking dope on you're own property?

the guy said he feels real bad and will hook me up with 9g's when he gets some. he is out about $200 himself. i bet its an empty promise, but i would image i could get an 1/8th for $15 next time instead... god dammit

agreed, come down to indiana and we'll hook you up with some prime 'rooms. It's an expensive habit ($30 / 8th) but it's worth it when you know you're not getting ripped off. I would find out whether it was your dealer who got them from the grocery, or his dealer. Work your way up the chain and then plunger the guy who knowingly ripped off everyone.
In my experiences, the pyramid for dealing shrooms is much shorter than the pyramid for swag. Usually shrooms are only 1-3 levels high, including the person you're getting them from.
As opposed to weed where it could be 4-5+ levels of dealing.

I've been on both ends of that situation before. As the recipient, I also called back to say that there was way too much, and received the same answer. As the dealer (which I dont do anymore, thankfully), you appreciate knowing that you fucked up and I never cared to give what I had fucked up on. I have had situations where my scale needed to be calibrated, and people calling me to tell me I fucked up actually fixed the situation.
You definitely did the right thing by letting him know! And, as a reward he says have a great time! What more could you ask for!
