I've thought about this as well. And I had the same medical marijuana idea as I only have one other bud who I trust to give away stuff to. And I don't want to take risks selling it to anyone. But my strange question is....how do you find a medical marijuana patient? Ask my own doc? Attend a NORML meeting?

If your not buying from a trusted dealer watch out for white "crystal" buildups at the bottom of the bag when you shake it. That's how they get you addicted, just stay away from it. Unless your into degrading the reputation of marijuana more then it already is in society.

ogguna, I think you'll find that 'spiked' or 'dusted' cannabis is as rare as chicken lips. Such things really are the stuff of anti-drugs propaganda; the zero-tolerance wowsers would LOVE to get their "spiked cannabis!!" falsehoods to take hold in our community to try to counter the current perception that cannabis is fairly harmless. Anti-drugs campaigners love to spread disinformation, knowing that in a prohibition environment, the truth can be hard to come by.

Whatever the drug said to be added to buds, one thing's sure- dealers don't give away drugs. They'd ask for more $ if they put anything non-cannabis in their buds.

If you see any 'crystals' on the bottom of a bag, look at them with a 10x magnifier. I'll bet you find they are just resin trichomes which have fallen off the buds.

Who here actually is a dealer? What do you deal, is it just pot, or more? What are your prices? Why do you do it? Is it a BAD thing to deal pot?
I do sell buds, but only buds. I don't like the black market cultures of other drugs much, so I just don't participate. I only sell buds to ppl I have known for many years.

I'd never, ever sell to anyone under 18; I actually don't have any regular buyers who are under 40.

I also won't sell to people whom I know have an alcohol problem. Drunks get busted at the next roadside breath-test with a bag of YOUR buds in their pocket and YOUR number programmed in their mobile phone under 'POT DEALER.'

I have kept my small circle of smokers buying from me for years and years because I only charge $300/oz of the local $400/oz street rate. 1/4oz usually goes for $100. This way, my mates can buy an oz, sell off three 1/4 ozs @ $100/ea and keep 1/4oz to smoke. They earn their $300 back- and smoke for free.

I don't know any med users (other than myself) at the moment, but I have in the past supported med users with free buds. However, you do have to use care when giving away freebs- and put a very strict limit on how much you're willing to give away. Some folks will take advantage of your generosity and sell the stuff you're giving away free out of the kindness of your heart.

Since we growers can have dope anytime we want it, one thing we forget is what it's like to have to go without weed. One of the most important ways to keep buyers coming back is to always have buds available- or at least be very open about exactly when you'll have some ready. My low-temp bud dryer allows me to pull down a plant and have it ready for smoking in 3 days, with no sacrifice in quality (no, it doesn't make them crumbly!). My buyers can contact me with an order and I can promise them buds in 3 days if I don't have any ready at that moment.

I treat my dealing as any good businessman runs a legal small biz. If anyone's unhappy, I'll refund their money (it's never happened). My oz bags are always a few grams heavy. I know my lower buds are about as good as my tops, so I sell the best and smoke the rest. I collect a lot of finger hash when harvesting- I give bits of the finger hash away for free to oz buyers, sort of like a prize in a cereal box. ;) I never, ever stress over money with my buyers. I don't mind fronting buds to ppl who have demonstrated that they're good for the $ in a week or two.

I deal because I built an op to supply my own med use and happen to make more than I can smoke. The income reimburses my costs and a bit more. I'm not getting rich by any stretch of the imagination, but I also don't worry much about money.

Is it a bad thing to sell? Depends. There are publicans who will continue selling booze to people who are already blind drunk. If you sell to teens, yeah- it's a bad thing. However, if you're selling to responsible adults, I can't see the problem. One of my clients says I perform a valuable public service!

Well, I'll be... at last someone with some fucking sense. If you see crystals at the bottom of the bag they're most likely very fine glass particles that some dickhead has added to make it weigh more. That's the only thing dealers will add to bud... they're interested in making money and shovelling the coke up their noses.

Well, that's the thing about buds vs. hash or 'chemical' drugs. It's very hard to add anything to buds without it being really obvious.

About the only cannabis product you'll find which can be 'stepped on' is hash. The trade in cheap, adulterated 'soapbar' and low-quality Moroccan hash in the UK is legendary- everything from road tar to asphalt roofing shingles to wood chips have been found in that soapbar shit.

The most dangerous thing growers can do to buds is irresponsibly use pesticides on flowering plants. I only use pest controls suited for food crops and I'd never spray any insecticide on or near a bud. Soapy water is as effective a pest & powdery mildew control spray as much more expensive, more poisonous things. Sticky fly traps are good for keeping gnat populations under control without posing any hazard to anyone.

I'm impressed to see such a high moral standing among the members of this board. It makes me proud to be a member, and even prouder to be a future contributing member.

I'm giving any excess to the two people who know about my crops. I don't worry that two people know as I've known them all my life and trust them with it as well. They'd never finger me, especially if I'm giving them buds.

I sold when I was younger. I was pretty good at it. I would say I usually moved about a half elbo a day. ( roughly 3.5 lbs a week)
I finally quit selling. It was getting to hectic. I would get off of work and go around an make my stops. I had a few smaller dealers who would buy a qp every 2-3 days. I also had thos people who would just want a dime. i would make those small time buyers wait until they had like 3 or 4 budies who wanted some also and make them pool their money to cut down on my trips.
It finally got to the point that it was not worth the money. I did not like the headache that came along with it. Now that I think about it I was selling for about 6 years.
Now I just smoke.
The only way that I would consider selling now would be to sell to the dealer that I get my smoke from.
I do not need the money like I used to. So now it is not necessary.
You will be suprised if you start selling.
It will take awhile to build up your customer base.
I built mine up by beating the competition.
Most people would sell an oz for 100 (reg).
I could get it from the same people and sell it a little cheaper like 80-90.0 an oz.
Then the race was on.
The other dealers seen how I was making my profit through volume.
When I stopped dealing most heads could get an oz for 60-75.
Then when I quit selling The nugs came on the scene.
The nugs pretty much put the reg dealers out of business in my area.

When I was young and making 3x's as much as I did at my job by selling for 2-3 hours a day things seemed fabulous.
I think it was more a status thing.
You would be suprised by the privelages that a beloved pot dealer gets.

In all I miss the money but the money will never take the place of peace and quite.

You guys deal o's and qp's like you're the shit. :blsmoke:
I'll get there someday.

I'm they guy who will buy an o from you and does all the nics and dimes which takes like a fucking week. But I don't have any expenses (still in school GO SENIORS)so I have a constant $120 or so profit flowin' in every week.

As for the prices CrazyTC: I have to pick up for $300 an o but I sell them for $420 an o (in small quantities of course).

I don't know how all these peeps deal o's for $75-150 but it must be some fucking ditch weed or something. I deal top dro.

I do a bit to subsardize my own smoking. I help out with the grows of my mother's friends. Someone's got to deal for area coverage and the fact NO ONE here can grow legally. No one wants to take the risk, really.
