Agreed! Low stress training is amazing if you know what you're doing lol but we are talking about beginners and they seem to forget the low stress part...

Please don't train your autos. It'll stunt them, make them small and decrease your yields.
As far as the OP question, photos are better for beginners.

This year is the first time I've ever grown anything outside. Two unknown photo seeds. Mom let me grow them outside next to the covered patio furniture.
