Hi,
Noticed springtails in my coco, lights were off for a couple of days and some leaf matter left in coco when pruning.
I think this has caused the infestation so i went to my local shop for advice and was given this stuff. Not alot of info online about it but what ive read is that springtails arent really an issue and this type of pesticide is pretty harmful.
This is a foilar spray but i was considering mixing up a weak solution and watering with it.
I have been feeding with bud candy and read that this pesticide will kill all of the beneficial microbes within the coco as well as being extremely harsh on the plants, perhaps even polluting the smoke.
I am extremely hesitant about using this, tbh anything that is harmful to ourselves, bees and aquatic life probably shouldnt be put in the nutrient solution.
Should i use this or just accept the springtails for who they are and manage via drying out of coco properly between waterings?
I have shut the window and moved the intake just incase other pests invade.
They are 3-4 weeks flower and tbf are growing fine.
