Are there any other pictures in the thread aside from a close up of a small bud? I'm not saying you can't grow or that HID is inferior, but that's a close up of a small bud. Not impressive enough to really brag about. Then you scroll down and BK has a whole room of BFCs. Also he won the picture of the month contest every month on Chuckers with his "LED synthetic bud."
Why do you need to be impressed?
Did the bud shown not reflect a finished bud?
I like his pics, take a look and see who was 1st to give his pics Love on that thread.

You show me a better picture of your example of a finished bud, and I'll give you links to my last two grows so you can enjoy all of the pics taken weekly. If you don't want to show pics, just go to chuckers and search my posts, same screen name, you will find both of them with little effort.

You said it got as many "likes" as BK's post. AKA people being impressed. My point was that doesn't mean much, especially because you can't even see most of the plant. I wouldn't have even responded if you hadn't said "LED synthetic bud." I'm wasn't sure if that was an insult or just a lack of understanding chemistry.

But then I realized that I don't care what others think. Their thoughts have nothing to do with me.
I mean absolutely no disrespect towards you whatsoever with this so please don't take offence, because you're one of a handful of posters I respect in my very brief time of participation here but... your comment above surprises the shit out of me. You obviously have extensive growing experience, have been active here on RIU for over five years and have posted over 20k times.. your content and posting history speaks for itself.

So why should you care and waste your time responding to an obvious troll and then go back, waste more of your valuable time and edit it out? Fuck 'em. Now, if you went back and edited it out to try and prevent more chumming of the trolls in this thread, then fuck _me_. :o

Btw, if you have a pecker gnat/gimp (Pulp Fiction reference) following you around posting troll like shit in a desperate attempt to get you to respond, do what's in my sig tag and they go away.

I said synthetic to troll whoever wanted to take the bait, to be honest. I'm quite aware that the s word is what got to you. Not sure why, could be an insecurity or might not be that at all IDK. I guess sharing the differences of the two grows is a no no without adding sugar for the masses.
On the flip side, you are missing some of the better info in both the organic HID and synthetic LED grown bud pics. Both are showing a very healthy finish to the end. Note the similarities of the leaves on both buds.
On a side note, I was quoting another member not speaking to the masses.

I am completely going to do an "old school" grow coming up soon. MH for veg. and HPS for flower. That's the way I used to do it....It has disadvantages and advantages, but, now that I have grown with almost every other new type of light, I want to go back and compare. I actually am guessing that either way won't matter much cost-wise since I only run 4 plants under one light per grow.
