Design Drying room help!!!

Hey guys...Need help designing a portable drying room... Landlord is taking the house back for a few days end of Aug and the rent drop was to good to say no plus i did not want to raise any eyebrows... i planned harvest to be about 4-5 days before he comes up and am going to rent my old landlords house for a week and dry there...

So im thinking about getting some PVC pipe and creating a box 7' long x 4' wide x 5' tall and wrapping it with 6mil black plastic left over from my room and 4-6 string lines threw the box... will also put an 4inch intake hole in the top corner and 4inch exhaust bottom corner that runs to a carbon filter... this should be light and movable so i can pop it back in my current house when hes gone

Any one have a better idea or ways to improve mine???... should i go bigger or smaller?? planning on 2-3lbs at harvest

how much weight do you plan on drying?

what i plan on doing for drying my crop is to buy a large (30-50 gal) rubbermaid tub and outfit it with ventilation and a carbon scrubber

yeah bro thanks for helping! im planning on 2-3 lbs.. i got a crazy canopy going with lots of huge nugs coming... i normally hang my buds do you just pile them in the rubbermaid?

i made a dry box out of a big old cardboard box that i had laying around ...

what i did was ran strings through the box so that i could just hang all the buds on the strings ...
the box is about 3-4 foot long and 1 foot high and almost 2 feet thick, so u cant dry 3 pounds in it but u could fit a least a half pound ...

i dont use a filter for that though ...

how smelly is it?

Well I saw a guy use this and thought it seemed like a great idea... One of those portable grow tents. A 5x5 grow tent with a bunch of string hanging from the bracket system. + you could put a small filter in there with a fan pulling the air out if you wanted, plenty of space for all that weed to hang. Keeps it nice and dark like you want. You could throw a humidifier in there to keep it at the humidity you want, some say 50% is good... And later you could use it for something else, like I room to use to cross some strains, a mother room, veg room or w/e. I know you can get a nice secret jardin 5x5 for a bit over $300.

I know that's prolly more than you want to spend.. But that's my idea I'm throwing out there

I did this recently, used the nice big box from an air conditioner and hung mine in there, and then put the box into a seldom used bathroom with a towel at the base of the door to try to hold in the smell. You could smell the weed in the room next to the bathroom, but not too bad.

thanks bud ... thats what i was thinking of doing... but making my own tent with 6 mil plastic and pvc pipe... big enough for humidifier and my carbon filter is big so i would filter into that outside the room

you can use your oven and put it in for 10 mins at 130 degrees farenhite n take it out for 5 mins then flip and put in for another 10 mins and it should be dry

nice grow!! i would just hang them and let them dry off...

wata fuck??? no i hope you have the common sense not to cook your bud dude just get a couple air fresheners that smell like your weed and put em all around the hose and use more than 1 3x3 cardboard box thats what i did and got past my parents my excuse was i told them i dont want my room to smell like shit anymore but i did have to clean my room....-.-

yeah so my conclusion is a buddy who owns a ski house/condo in the area is giving it to me for the 4 days my landlord comes up and im just gonna dry in his place, without him knowing either, but it will be cool... told him i would pay for a cleaning lady to clean the place and throw him some nug
