Determining sex of blue dream

Hi Everyone,

My plants Blue Dream girls have been veging for more than 4 weeks now. They are about 1.5 to 2 feet tall and very bushy. The inter-nodes are close together. I'm thinking (hoping) that they are ready to be flowered. So before I flower I wanted to see if I can get your help to identify the sex of these plants. I purchased these as seeds (feminized) and I'd like to think they are girls but you never know unless there are tell-tales. So anything you can do I appreciate and I thank you.

I dont see anything male. With fem seeds i assume female and always check every few days anyways. Only really a problem if you scrog and end up with a male or hermie all tied in. Otherwise easy to get rid of any that form balls

What he ^^^^ said. Looks good you did a great job controlling stretch. How did you veg them tell us about the grow so for.

I've had several fem seeds turn out male, so it's not for sure. That being said you should still be fine

Hi Everyone,

My girls appear nice due to maticulous gathering of data (via sensors), PAR meters (~500 par), climate control, histograms and your priceless feedback.

Here are my Data Points.

I truly am grateful for all your feedback and guidance.

Nice tech too, being a nerd ain't like it use to be nerds are superstars now ( not calling you a nerd just saying ) lol haha. No disrespect to nerds or non nerds lol.

No offense taken. I do have a setup similar to a lab. I'm trying to establish a proven process that I can replicate regardless of scale.

I'm also having my nutrient water tested weekly at a laboratory. It tells me if my process lacks in a nutrient and it demonstrates which nutrient(s) is consumed and at what ratio.

So have they shown more sings of sex. I couldn't really tell from the first pics. I've grown bd, have a monster cropped clone now, just an experiment really, I struggle with stretch with this strain and others too, so I really would like to figure out to minimize that. I need more skill I think that would help a lot. Good luck and bd taste so yummie. Mmmmmm think I'll go have a bowl are three lol, I always loose count haha.

*********Update*********

Here is today's update on the girls. Hopefully this provides more info about the sex.

nah, but some plants wont produce pistils until they start to flower in my exp. You will notice a plant is male before it shoots pollen if you are looking. wouldn't worry about it to much just start flowering and watch them and make sure each produces female flowers.

In a couple of pics I think I can see a little tiny calyx ( plant vagina hahaha ) maybe hmmmm maybe not. Maybe I just want to see it hmmmm. Anyway it will show in two three days, and the males will show first usually but not always.

Here are so more pics...
I definitely see some signs of sex there, I can't tell if it's male or female though because it's blurry, but those bumps at the bottom of the stems will tell you. 20161022_155403.jpg
If they are shaped more like cones then it's probably female, if they're shaped like round balls then it's probably male. To me that looks like female cones. And if you bought femenized seeds I don't think you have anything to worry about.
