It'll be 48hrs of dry time in 3 more hours. I'll check it again this evening and if the stems snap, I'll put in brown paper bags. Hopefully it won't be that far along already, seems quick

Exactly. I was hoping for three days hanging but it got hot on Friday and seemed to dry it kinda quick at first so I don't think it'll be three days now but we'll see.

I bent a stem/branch last night and it still bent a bit even though it was pretty stiff but about an hour ago when I checked again, there was a nice snap when I tried to bend one. :bigjoint:
It actually started to bend but then made a snap sound, didn't break off but snapped all the same so I snipped it all off the branches and jarred it up with Hygrometers in the jars so I can monitor the cure process closely.

I don't like stems in my shit so I cut them all right close to the bottom of the buds and if at the bottom of the big buds I could see seperate stems, I cut those too to get rid of as much of the stems as possible so there's only really a few big buds left. Most of them are small nuggies and the jars smell lovely. If you sniffed a bud, you could smell a hint of what it should smell like but very weak. If you sniff the jar, it smells awesome!!

Sure lost a lot of weight between the branches and the moisture. It went from just under 8oz when I hung it up to just over 2oz after drying and trimming. Crazy...

Looks like fire buds to me......literally, lol

I shouldn't say it but those jars look "familiar" to me... lol!
fire buds indeed, they're red as flames... I'm at 30 hours drying myself we could make some sort of comparison of the process later on ;)

...tuned as always!

Lol, I got a good smile out of the angels breaking into song line. Even after I just went to make adjustments and found 4 of what I think are fungus gnats.

I tried out the GC last night and it's definitely fire. Very potent, tastes and smokes great too. I recommend it to anyone that can FIND it ;-).

A few buddies of mine that are vet smokers have been very complimentary. I gave them each a little to sample and they all enjoyed it. They said,"very stoney", "killer smoke", "tastes awesome" and they all said "great job, keep up the good work".

Nice to hear...

Here's a pic I took of the Hiundu SKunk when watering it tonight. It's just part of it really and I now think it will yield more than the GC did. The leaves are all yellowing and/or dying off now but there's still a bunch of white pistils and it's only been 7 weeks and 2 days so I'll keep watering and watching for another week or two. I started flushing too soon with this one but it'll still be awesome, the buds are still fattening up more everyday.

GC is definetly the shiz!! From what i understand it is the smoke of choice by most vets!
Yeah, I wish I had been able to save more clones from this plant. I have one that made it but it seems to be a bit of a slow grower. I'm changing things up with my grow over the next few weeks and will be vegging my mothers under either a HPS or MH bulb depending on funds (already have an extra HPS setup) so hopefully the GC will start to grow better once it's transplanted it into a 5gal pot and under more intense light. I'll end up with a Sour Grape (hopefully), The Church, Green Cush and Super Lemon Haze for mother plants by the time I'm done revamping the grow.

I want to be able to harvest some of each strain every month so I have some selection. I'll give more details on the change once it's set up which is starting today :) .

Allright so here's the deal, I've been researching some sutff lately and trying to decide which method would be the best suited for me to use to upgrade my gro op. After TONS of reading I've decided on where to go with it and I've complete the first step which is to reconstruct my grow rooms.

I've attached a couple pics to show the new flower room which is 38"dX48"lX7'H. There is now a 36"X48" table in it that is 20" above the floor and the light has been relocated so that it is now centered over the table. I went ahead and threw my Green Cush plant in there with the other two so that it will fatten up and grow a bit.

The veg room is the same dimensions it has always been but is now divided into 2 sections that are stacked with the mother plants to be in one and the cloning tray/dome in the other. I'll be adding another cloner in the near future most likely and it may be an aero setup that I'll DIY.

The immediate plan is to take as many clones as I can from the Green Cush and let it flower since it will finish about the same time as the Sour Grape anyway. I will harvest the Hindu Skunk in the next couple weeks and about 6 weeks from now I will harvest the Sour Grape and Green Cush.

The long term plan is to change the grow op over to Hydro and I will be harvesting 4-5 small plants every 2 weeks. I will have The Church and Super Lemon Haze as mother plants and hope to grow one of each of the Green Cush and Sour Grape clones into mother plants as well for a total of 4 mothers that will stay under my 150W HPS light with a MH bulb in it. There will be 4 separate hydro systems in the flower room that run different nute mixes for different stages of the grow. Every 2 weeks I will be moving the plants from one tray to another until finish.

I'm going to take clones often and will either be putting them straight into flower once they're rooted or vegging them for 1-2 weeks first, not sure yet. I will try both ways and see what the yield is before making that decision.

What I haven't mentioned to anyone except one person on here is that I have had a test grow going for a couple weeks now that is hydro (ebb&flow) to test the waters so to speak. So far it's going well and I plan on going with this form of hydro for my grow. There's a couple of Sour Grape plants in there that I put straight into the hydro system under 12/12 with the 150W HPS light once they showed good roots. They're in rockwool cubes, in Hydroton, in mesh bottom pots. They are sitting in a tray made from a rubbermaid tote that's connected to a 5gal bucket for a reservoir with FF flower nutes in it at a low PPM. I haven't taken any pics of it and probably wont until it's in the regular flower room since it's nothing special and really just a test anyway.
