alright, this is twice in the past week i've seen you mention the "supernatural status" obtained by rols after a few recycles. Please tell me more! :)
 
There is no better way I can think of to describe it but the Rev coined this term...
“Supernatural” status...the point at which there is so much microbial and fungal activity in your mix that all you have to do is water the plants and let it ride til harvest time. If you want to know more go read the books suggested on page one of this thread.
 
So much has changed; have been so busy trimming, transplanting, and whatnot. The bloom room is once again at full capacity. Four more clones replaced the two plants that are now either hanging or jarred already. These 4 were properly monster cropped and are getting quite bushy now. They will be the first plants to get a full bloom cycle under the Redwood VS which has allowed for a slightly larger light footprint; can easily stuff a couple more plants in here than I used to. Still have 2 plants currently ripening; looks like my sativa leaners will take 11+ weeks or more. Fresh pics coming soon.
 
In other news...got some pineapple sized donkey dicks here; giving her a few days in the dark before chop. All of the fan leaves shriveled up and died already. Had to tie this one down; she so fierce...Blueberry Headband x Candyman Haze... 76 days

Ahhh...distinct smell of blueberry roadkill....
 
The power has been off since Tuesday afternoon due to a crazy storm we had up here. Plants have been n the dark for 3 solid days. Thankfully power is back on now; will document any adverse affects of prolonged dark here.
By the way throughout this entire thread and the preceding one the ph has never been checked or adjusted once. I just water the plants; that’s it. Straight from the dehumidifier to a bucket. There’s no question ph is important to growing healthy green plants of any kind but as long as your mix contains plenty of active organic material and is properly limed after each run the ph takes care of itself.

3 days!? That's pretty rough. How many days are you into flower?

Somewhere between three or four weeks into flowering but the outage did not seem to affect them too much. Had some yellow fans drop off but they were on the bottom or inside under heavy canopy. No biggie, my smaller plants in veg seem worse but that’s probably because they needed to be transplanted to larger pots. Gave them some liquid fish after transplants; they are recovering nicely.

Are you very concerned that the stress might cause a herm?
 
Not really; I have seen a few nanners on these sometimes but it’s usually very late in flower and it is always the blueberry crosses. It is because the HSO BBHB were femmed seed. Only ended up with a few seeds in the bud. No big deal. If these herm out I’ll document it here.
 
Ok so since nobody’s grow is always perfect though my shits pretty damn close... I will again document my failures along with successes. So if you if you recall the pics of these huge buds harvested from the blueberry crosses at the top of this page it may disappoint you that the largest colas have developed mold.
I was trimming bud into the jars and kept smelling that familiar barn smell; kind of like hay. Thought at first maybe I picked too early but the buds are dense and sticky AF after 11 weeks in bloom. Found that only the largest buds were affected.
It happened likely because this plant sat for almost a week in the dark before I finally got around to trimming it. I had taken it out of the bloom room the day before and forgot at the time that I noticed it had a few nanners popping off. Planning to trim it the next day but that’s when the lights went off and didn’t not return for 4 more days. Trimmed off the fans and let it hang for 10 days to find it was still too wet to jar up. This was the tell tale sign that maybe I dried too slowly in this humidity with no a/c for days.

Well I wasn’t before but guess it had already happened, not to the plants that were just flipped but to the plants that were harvested after the outage....it is always this strain too. Looks like that’s it for the BBHB; well we had a good run. Time to start over from seeds again; need to inject some new genetics into my grow.
 
Sorry to hear about the problems with this harvest. Just a small hiccup in a long run of successes i'd say. Sounds like a good plan to get some new genetics going. Have you decided what you're going to run next?
 
Still have lots of clones vegging in the pipeline that may or may not be more BBHB crosses. Never been very good at labeling stuff. Anyway I will probably pop some more strawberry sour diesel x CMH seeds which is still my favorite daily smoke, also the blue dream crosses were excellent & I miss those. Either of these will fill the garden back up with more stable and exotic genetics.

In these last 2 pics you can see the buds on this plant are so heavy the colas are pointing towards the wall. Might have to pull this onea bit earlier than a full 10 weeks as I need the space.... and the bud.

Plan to finish up the next batch and pop some new seeds this strains getting tired.....here’s the next batch of plants on deck; already popping off... thewere “monstered“ or revegged for two weeks...
