By looking at hairs, it seems the atomic will want to finish first, she still has all clear trics tho and id like to get in the 20-30% amber range before i chop her i think, so they will all come down as they finish.

i dont have a preference, i may take each of the fruit punch down at different stages of tricome development tho, just to see which high i like the most of the 3.

perfect, that helps me roughly get the math on how much id want / need

I am very strongly considering the switch. I still have 1 bag of FFOF left and plants already growing in that medium, so ill prob use that bag and finish the next run then seriously consider making the move.

it looks wierd under led compared to hps and yea I was wondering to harvest at different times all 4 same genetics same nutes and see if it makes a diff

@H.A.F. was the one who put that in my head, with 3 plants running, it would be a good time for me to find out personally which stage of finished i enjoy most. Being my first time growing, it would be good to know moving forward

just went and had another look at trics, the Atomic is showing to be furthest along, she does have cloudy trics and i did find the ambers i had seen 2 days ago, so it seems shes def the closest

the 3 fruit punch are amber less, some signs of cloudy but mostly clear

I honestly dont know lol

I would like to see more amber and see the majority of her clear trics turn cloudy, being new, im not really sure what the timeframe is on tric development, if i had to guess, within the week?

This is just my opinion, but I think you have at least 2 more weeks to go. Personally, I shoot for all cloudy with maybe a few ambers. That tells me the plant is mature and not over-ripe yet. I've got an 8 and a 9 week strain going in my tent right now, they are on day 61 of flower. Chopped off one branch yesterday, and after getting a chance to look closer without it being on the plant, I'm going to wait another week myself.

Growing MJ has taught me nothing if not patience.

I usually harvest the main buds first, and then a week - 10 days later I look at the next layer of bud, they fill in and finish nicely, it might be worth the wait if you have the room?

I agree for sure, if its 2 weeks , it is it what it is lol

I wont be chopping premature, if the trics are ready before that ill chop, if its 3 weeks, so be it lol.

My posts may sound impatient, i really am not, just want to get it right. Make sure i dont cut too early or too late , newbie gitters lol

i mentioned doing this a couple times, i think my yield would benefit from doing as you say, take all the tops once finished, let the rest finished afterwards.

I have the space, i would just need to keep the next run in the veg tent for that extra time.
