Alrighty the sprayer was working fine from what i saw but since your the creator.. I'll try it out.. Awesome setup btw.:hump:

Well I mentioned before that I thought this would be a good basis for a mini ebb&flow. So I was bored today and decided to put one together, as a proof of concept. Keep in mind that my home-made fittings are pretty crappy, i just dont have any proper e&f fittings. I just used what I could find around the house.

The one problem that i dont like is that the bottom of the top tray has a convex shape when i think happened then i drilled the holes and crammed the fittings into it, cause it not to completely drain (you can see this in the photo). I suppose this could be worked around by putting the pots on top of a piece of eggcrate or something...

FYI the dark blue ITSOs are cheaper than the "in style" colors, found it in a clearance-type aisle. Anyway heres the pics.

How long do you run it on and off for? Like on for a 1min and off for 10min? I just wanted to know do to my timer only does 15 min intervals.

Meh. I dont know. I really just made it because I liked the ITSO idea and I was bored, dont really have any plans to grow anything in it yet. But I have to keep it legal, so maybe when i harvest my peppers ill try for some strawberries or something. I would really like to do romanesco broccoli, but I'm not too certain about keeping the low temperatures that broccoli thrives in. but this broccoli looks sooo cool, its like a living fractal

what size spray nozzle is that?(gph).u didnt say how far the nozzle should be from the cuts.why does it need to be in two tubs,couldnt u just pump water threw a nozzle onto the lid with the baskets.why do i need drain holes if the hole the hose comes threw isnt tight fitting.how long do u run the pump for?do u have a timer on that pump or does it run nonstop?my home depot didnt have fittings that a nozzle would screw into,nor did osh.my buddy tired to make this from this post.his didnt work tho.his cuts rotted

seams like the spary from a shurb nozzle would blast the new roots off.also do u have any pics of it working?(with plants that have roots)

Oh I plan on it Brother:bigjoint:. BUT!!!!!!!!!!! Don't know if I wanna do the Aeroponics or Cloner or Ebb & Flow. I really am thinking of doing an Aeroponics though. And ur's looks awesome! All of them do! I would love to hear people's testimonies on these DIY Aeroponics. :peace:

I have 2 clones in there now so we will see if it works. I will post pics as soon as roots show. I am also using a timer that is 15min on and 15min off so we will see if you can do it with a cheap timer.

So it's 15 on and 15 off? Is it like that w/ ebb & flow also? I'm trying to start understanding those concepts. I'm using a DIY DWC "Bubbler".

Yea that is right. The timer I have is a cheaper one that you can only do for 15min intervals. The nice ones can do what you want. From what I have heard it is more like 1min ON and 5min Off for aero cloner. There is lots of different ways to do the time so do what works!The timer they use to do it is like 70-80 dollars. It looks fine so far but I will know soon how. :weed:
