DIY led grow

Holy sh!t

These mofos are heavy. Nice flowers top to bottom. Small tops were hidden in the canopy completely developed...useless green n yeller? Odiferous to the Maximus..(:

To say I love this light is a huge understatement. Cxas...probably most cobs in general are made for growing. If the funny guys out there can't figure it out it's their loss. Don't let them fool you..

Sorry no plant shots out of the tent. They grow into each other when I max out the room. I'll see if there's any other good photos I haven't already posted but these are the last shots.

448g.

Threw away a little that had budrot. Light grew about a pound...I'm amazed. Took my 2 oz average coco kush to 6 oz. My first ever 1 g/w grow...with medium yielding strains.

Light was run at 405w for the majority of flowering. Plus 50w UVB for 4 hrs. I don't really count the UVB based on it's not their for yield. If anything it hurts yield I'd think. But even counting it in it still makes the g/w. All the hard work has paid off..big thank you to the DIY enthusiasts here for all the help.

Did a little light tweaking. Checked all the components and wiring. Everything looks to be in top shape and ready to go!

Changed my red scheme a little. I had 14 oslon hyper red. Now it's 10 oslon hyper red and 8 cree 670nm photo red. Spaced as evenly as possible.

See how this goes. Something about stretching the red band a little wider just sounds right.

Done running 400w though, my electric bill is too high. Right around 200 - 250w and perpetual might be what I do for awhile now....time to switch gears. That would put everything running at around 500ma. Should run completely cool and last indefinitely at that power level...lol.

Inside what footprint pos? Great job, that'll still be curing four harvests from now.

2 x 4 x 7 gorilla tent. The extra height combined with reflectors really helped the yield. There really was nice buds all throughout the canopy at different levels. That's what I've been trying to accomplish more or less..

Considering taking the reflectors off the cxas though..will be playing with that a bit.

Photo reds are up and running. So far my oven reflows have handled well. The oslon hyper reds on aluminum sinkpads took the 1a current without a hiccup so far. These cree photoreds are on copper sinkpads so hopefully it will be cool runnings.

Can you spot the 670nm cree photored versus the 656nm oslon hyper red?

Must be the last color your vision picks up before heading to its peak wavelength.

I'm not saying red is the way...

I will eventually unplug them for a run...maybe next run. But I have a good feeling, they being there, are a good thing.
