I was designing a reflector for Slate 2 single and another for Slate 2 double. Then @Stephenj37826 recommended just making it compatible with corner screw holes of board itself, that way it is compatible with everything

Yes can be used vertical.
Dim them a little if they run hot.

its a little drier here than i thought it was going to be, so i jarred today. started drying at 430 grams, went into the jar at 165 grams, and i expect it to lose about another 20-30 grams through the burping process, so i should end up right at 5 oz.. started at just short of a pound, gonna end up with 5 oz, so about a 65% loss.....

anyone know the specs on the new 4 board rigs driver? i know its an HLG 480 but whats the current? wanted to DIY one from scratch

Slate 2 doubles length 590mm works well with QB304 @1.22 amps so about 135 watts X2
single slate 2 length 340mm can do as high as 150w

HLG-480H-C2100 driver can run 4x QB 288 in series. hLG 550 lamp uses this config and has about 510 watts total with type A meanwell
HLG 550 plate for DIY is called Slate 4 and comes in green color only

Looks like you got the new daisy chain style power cord.
Trying to come up with a new kit using Slate 3 triple. This heastink is compatible with almost all Meanwell HLG drivers.
HLG 80H/100H/120H/150H/185H/240H/320H
Let me know if anyone has any recommendations.
Been testing this new 260W kit with 2 boards spaced apart on slate 3 (790mm). Nice spread. Center 3rd board space empty
runs slightly warmer than the Slate 2 double heatsink (590mm length).

Yea the new daisy chain cord is sweet. I like the fact that you gave both options with that or the wagos.
That's what I noticed too, the center gets the most light then the edges kinda fall off. Either way I'm really digging this light. Going to scrog this tent once the autoflower is finished

Now I like that. I've thought the Slate 2 puts the boards too close together for an optimal footprint. I've been thinking of three, Slate 3 with 2 boards each to cover a 4'x6' vertical scrog
