DIY with Quantum Boards

I read through your thread with MC and I was curious as to your feeding schedule? I think I might try coco next run after watching your MC thread.
18/6 and 12/12 in flower :bigjoint: the Quantums are the food, Mega Crop just allow the plants make the most of them.

I run a 6-8 gallon Rez and loosely base it on the feed chart depending on what the strain likes "doing this now/didn't do during the test". Most of veg I watered every other day, flower every day. The following watering after Rez change was PHed water with a little Floraclean then back to nutes.

Day 40f, doing okay I guess. One of the upgrades for the next run is to put the tent on a small platform/table, so I can have the drainage outside the tent. that will give me around 25-30cm/10-12" that are currently used for the in tent drainage, so the next run won't be that close to the fixture.
Hoping that these ladies would be ready on ~3 weeks time. Have anyone grown jillybean before? The aroma of this strain is awesome!

Even tho Xmas is manaña ... I thought I would show my two warming up in the bullpen -

PEYOTE COOKIES
AUTO WHITE DWARF

One is going into an Octopot ( my DIY ) and the other into an airpot. I am keeping the babies warm during these low temp nights with a seedling mat. Since it has been cold at night , I have them under 24/0 CFL to keep the stretching low. If I placed in the tent as is they would have crazy stretched. So I am letting them get thir legs for a week or so until transplant. I like using styrofoam cups sometimes cuz when I tilt cup for transplant I get a smooth release of plug and it does not stress it for transplant.

Not sure which Quantum rig I will use with these yet but just want to keep up a rotation on some other strains I have yet to try.

Anyways ... Have a Merry Christmas and Happy new year.

If your driver goes bad does it make a clicking sound, like its repeatedly trying to turn on ?

I Moved a fixture from upstairs to downstairs and i don't know if the driver may have bumped the wall( its brand new like BRAND BRAND new from arrow Meanwell) all the wires are secure and haven't moved they are locktied.

But when i plug it in i can hear it making a hum like click repeatedly like its trying to fire. I moved two other fixtures built exactly the same and they are fine.

I have to double check everything, just asking here if anyone might know what that sound means and the boards are not lighting up.

It almost sounds like the clicking sound a car blinker would make and that fast as well

It should not make any sound at all. A slight ticking sort of sound usually indicates an internal short somewhere inside a component, transformers and capacitors being the most likely culprit.

double check the wiring, then call Arrow support

There is some weeks to go but wanted to show how well the Quantums are putting frost on the buds without adding any supplemental UV. The ducks foot was something ( I should have took cuttings from ) , oh well.
Looks good!
How do you know UV wouldn't make it even better?
Could go either way.

Why would pros like Growmau5 add UV, IR, and far red to their builds if it didn't help?
I'm not trying to start an argument. :eyesmoke:

I was just saying , for those with " good " strains , no worries the quantum will STILL bring out the frost AS IS , no overthinking the boards .... Just plug them in and grow !

@Growmau5 did add UV and it kinda cooked the plants ... But his rig is an exceptional build .... I use deep reds ( 630-660nm ) from time to time , but it's a builders choice.
Nothing wrong with fabbing up something special , it's not necessarily a requirement.
QBs as a base build still brings the frost. I grew some BAGGERS with them and they did pretty well but because of weak genetics , they were ok at best , it's best to throw the better stock under them for tasty stuff. I zero complaints with the QBs , NO brick oven temps , NO fading bulbs , NO clicking ballasts , NO DRAMA.

His builds are always the ones to look up to. That Quantum Canopy rig is a keeper ... That's why he said he ain't gonna part with it .... Lol

Even tho I don't have the grow space - I have able to grow tasty ass weed in relatively small spaces. Literally bedroom grows ....
