I started for the season about a month ago even though it is still too cold.
They are rather small.
If I posted a picture, you could have a laugh and massage your knob

Normally I don’t comment on trolls ( knob nibblers ) but I do find them entertaining.

I don’t stammer and say FUCK YOU or other shit like that , I embrace them.
I find that idiots like YODA bring nothing to the table ....

Hps didn’t work out for me ... buying AC , bulbs , routing vents , heat , etc.
So what . Sure I’m a HLG customer, but in reality I’m a SAMSUNG user.

Regardless of form factor , it is the components doing the work.
Cree , Luminus , Citizen , Vero Are ALL GOOD .... no time to be petty and stuck with gas filled bulbs.
I would do CMH before EVER going back to hps. Either he can’t accept the USER friendly aspect of LED BOARDS or he’s been teabagged too many times.

There ARE large grows using Quantums... he CAN’T accept that.

One day he will pull up his pants ....
Leave the alley behind subway ...... wipe the guy goo off his face
And take that $1.45 he made and put toward an LED BUILD.

Got 4* qb 288s running on as hlg480-2100. How high should the lights be over the canopy during the stages of life? Should I be dimming then down at all or run full out? Have a 4*3 space with two boards per heatsink spaced 18" apart and from walls.

You know nothing about aquaponics, fish excrement is mostly ammonium which has very high levels of nitrogen. Read up before trying to troll me scrub. I'd specifically look up ammonium in aquaponics if you are trying to learn, if you are trying to troll you will be ignored.

“Aquaponics” combines growing plants in water, or hydroponics, with fishcultivation, or aquaculture. ... It begins with fish poo and pee, both of which contain lots of ammonia. Worms that live in rooting substrates break the solids down and then bacteria convert the ammonia into nitrate, which acts as a fertiliser.

While the information you are quoting is correct, you, again, are not, and have shown the lack of understanding you possess. If anything my pond water lacks enough nitrate. Now, feel free to insult me and tell me I know nothing about aquaponics, my fish will disagree with you. Perhaps you should go look at the class that was suggested.

You need bigger and more fish. Your pond area is too small to contain proper sized fish. That's more of an aquarium than an aquaponics setup.
