I do the same just pushed up to 6 grams per gallon a week ago just hit the end of week 4 from flip today and the ladies are loving it so far drinking that shit up like a fat kid at a candy store
lol.

I got burnt tips at 4.5g megacrop + bud explosion and additives so i backed off to 4.0. Still very green so i cut down to 3.5. And went up to 1.5 on the bud explosion. Its like trying to hit a moving target.

Im in pure coco and feed/water twice a day by hand once at lights on till about 20% run off and i give each plant another brimful solo cup of nutes 3 hours before lights off. I treat coco as a hydro medium and never let it dry out at all.

i use half a teaspoon of epsom salts and 6 grams of megacrop per gallon every time i water them. Week one i was at 5 grams and each week i kind of push it up a little bit and ill probly keep doing so until i see some tip burn then ill back off till they finish.

These plants get hungry under these quantum boards

I admire a good coco/hydro setup as im to pussy to dive over to the hydro side. You sure can get alot bigger plants. But agreed my soil plants even drink well under my qbs. Fuckin hittin nearly 10 gallons a week between 6 plants

About 15 grams per Tablespoon ( 15ml ). Would be for a lighter feeder strain I assume or you are adding other .. I am running about 31.5 g per 6 gal ( 2 Tablespoons ) in coco w/10-15% perilite. Week 1 and 2 flower. Slowly bump it up then back down and flush. I also do some 1/2 strengths as sort of a flush sometimes. I really need to get my DTW set up better and meet my proper "drain to waste %". My plant usually show this later in flower. My DTW involves a shop vac or absorbent rag on 1/2 a fishing pole. Between that and hand watering with a 750ml SS water bottle are improvements I need to make. Gardening gives me solitude, the plants don't talk back they only listen.

Measuring spoons are a lot easier and quicker than weighting nutrients. I use one level tablespoon of Meagacrop per 5 gallons and always check the ppm. Its always the same within + or - 15 ppms. weighing it is fine too, if that's what you like. But one technique is no better than the other.

With the driver mounted remotely should I ground my aluminum frame for my QBs with the 3rd wire from ac outlet cord

Anyone use a nylon spacer between Pcb board and aluminum angle?

Plants don't care about fancy pictures on bottles or marketing hype. Boring powdered nutrients are cheap and grow awesome plants.

I would never recommend using teaspoons or cups or anything but grams per gallon, or litre or whatever.
Watch some greengene's garden videos on youtube, especially on nutrients, you will learn a lot.

The problem with me telling you how much to use is I don't know how much magnesium you already have in your nutrients.
I know that Megacrop altered their recipe to give it a better amount of magnesium recently.

I add 1 grams per gallon of epsom salt to my old style Megacrop and my ladies are usually happy.
i added 1 gram of epsom salt per gallon of water and foiler sprayed with epsom things seem to making a turn.
thanks!

I attach the board to the heatsink, then set the heatsink inside the frame. That way I can adjust the position of the lights without moving the frame.

Are we talking HLG? I just looked and didn't see. I am in the market for UV and was talking with Dennis over at Solacure. I was looking between Solacure and Agromax but am open. From what I understand UV on LED's isn't there right now. UVA only no UVB. I would like to have something to run between 16-24" away ( even with other lighting ) Any idea's on this? Anyone else using? I did look through a couple threads in regards to. Thanks

I suppose I should stay on point to HLG here..

UV BOARDS ARE IN STOCK GUYS!!!!!!!

I would love to grab a couple of those. They would fit so much better than the tubes mentioned. Longer exposure to the UVA would help with powder mildew/fungus and bugs apparently ( if what I read is correct ) Perhaps keep more compact healthy etc, but would it really increase THC compared to UVA mixed w/UVB tubes.. One thing to think about the UVB could deteriorate parts inside tent after long exposure. Fans, cables, dehumidifier, perhaps tent itself.. I am interested in more info on this..

HLG just got back to me as i ask if they had UV: "We are currently selling this at cost for research"

I remember @HydroRed was running UVA. Any feedback perhaps? Are you happy with? or wished for UVB mixed in?

I have an 8 foot piece of PVC that keeps the tent walls from sucking in too far. I am certain UVB would break that plastic down into fine particulate ( Like old patio chairs ). Were as the dehumidifier has a shinny coating harder to break down I assume. I wonder if this plastic is treated already. Once you bring UVB into the scene it's probably wise to pay attention to this stuff in the environment. Another thing would be wire coating to fixtures fans etc. Or perhaps the tent could wear. GreeneryBob had a good recommendation pages back for wire with UV protection. Can long term UVB harm LED lighting itself? I wonder.. I carried on in the "UV Suppliment Lighting" thread as probably more appropriate.
