I googled "HLG240h1750b amazon" and didnt get anything, maybe they just dont carry it. I know they have the qb120 and the matching power supply on amazon though.

Unfortunately still nothing comes up with around 10 differant ways of searching it. I found the closest results by using "mean well 240h1750b" but it doesnt look like they have that specific driver.
Given this it seems like the qb120's are the way to go.
Is there a efficiency differance between the 120 and 132 board?

I wouldn't buy my driver from amazon or ebay! Buy from a reputable dealer. there is a search engine specifically for search LED parts. Here's the search link with this driver in the search box.
Of course you could have just googled it...........

Isnt hgl trash watt for watt versus pretty much everything? Maybe if they used better diodes and I didnt hate the color they give off I'd give em a shot but I think theres value in being able to see my plants

Anyone considering those Cheap Alibaba imatation QBs, consider this: For a few dollars more you get from HLG a top quality product, that uses REAL Samsung LEDs, a THREE year warranty, And customer service that no one can match. I'm seeing some of these guys who bragged up there counterfeit boards, are now crying about burnt out LEDs.... sounds just like what you got from Cheapo burple lights! Maybe they'll send you some LEDs to solder onto your board as a fix......... you get what you pay for!
