Your right one one thing, From now on I'll say nothing about other products in this thread, that will save on misunderstandings. And in that light, this is not the Mars thread nor the strip light thread, so I ask that questions and comments on those products be directed to the appropriate thread so that we can concentrate on Horticultural Lighting Groups products

I've made no racist comments. If a product is made in country X, I call it made in country X. If it was made in the USA and was not as good as claimed to be, I'd say so also. I'm stating facts and my experiences and those of other people with lighting products made there, nothing more. Should I have just made a list of brand names? I'm trying to be reasonable about this. don't be so eager to brand things as racist without looking at the context. As I said, I could care less who made it or where any particular product is made, if I see it as merely good or mediocre, I'll say so, and that is my only intent. I find it sad that you see it otherwise. You've a right to disagree with my comments, but not to label me racist merely because you disagree with me. That is no better than the anti-cannabis people's famous last resort " BUT OHH The CHILDREN"!!!
I know about racism. Without going into details of my personal life, I've experienced it. I've had a cop put a gun to the side of my head in a traffic stop for no reason. I was sure I was about to die just because he didn't like my looks.

So that this can be judged by an impartial source, I've asked a MOD to review this and I'll abide by whatever decision comes from that. NEVER was my intent to offend anyone.

I'm wondering what happened in the past that made some people hate HLG so much. I never checked the LED section much before last year. Every time I would browse the section all I would see were fights and arguments about stupid shit. I'm going back to 2014 at least maybe even earlier. I've been here since 2007, lost my account in 2018, then made this one. I remember back then the fights were all about hps vs LED. 20 threads all about trolls and fighting.

Except the trolls were the hps guys lol. They wouldn't leave the LED people alone for a minute. It was fun to watch for a while but it got boring fast.

Now it's LED people trolling LED people and the hps guys come in with a joke or two here and there. Funny how things change over time. I don't have much experience with LED so I stay out of it. I do know that I like to give my $$$ to Americans. Yes, even if they get their stuff from another country and then sell it to me. Am I a dumbass for doing so? That's depends on who is answering the question.

It is MY $$$ right? I mean I can do whatever I want with my own money. This should not be a problem for anyone else here. Yes, you can have your opinion about what I can do with it. Just don't call me a dumbass about what I do with MY $$$. Then you are a bitch imo and I'm going to smack the shit out of you so you put my ass on ignore and I wont have to deal with you anymore.

For the people who hate the "expensive" light companies.....................you have every right to choose who you like or dislike. But when I buy a light and ask for some help....or have a question about LED in veg or flower....................I should at least get an answer about LED stuff and not stuff about where I bought my light and how much I spent for it. That stuff is just getting more and more dumbass every fucking day.

Back to my first sentence. Why the hate for HLG? All I ever see is stuff about racism or price. If it's about racism.......................who the fuck here can throw stones because they are so fucking innocent? WHO?

If it's about price...........................who the fuck cares about how I spend MY $$$$? WHO?

Let's drop the hypocrisy and get down to growing. Give people a chance for fucks sake and let life go on. Get over personal issues and grow the fuck up already.

Ya, that's where the headquarters is. I'm pretty sure the HLG diodes are from there or Vietnam.

So.............I'm growing under this ripoff HLG Diablo light. Seems to be working. I think when this finishes it might pay for the light all by itself.



No calmag yet and I'm getting worried. I hope it don't die on me. Maybe I'll get 22 grams. Would be nice.

Thanks for ripping me off on this light HLG. I appreciate it. If I don't get at least 22 grams I demand a refund.......................or at least half my money back.

This plant looks terrible tho. Has burned tips. No way I did this because I never use too much nutes.

I have personal experience with Mars warranty and customer service. They don’t stand behind there product. At best they will try and send you parts to repair it yourself.

not according to the data sheet from Samsung. 301b arent' made in SK, just Vietnam 1 plant or China 2 plants.

It stands to reason that the B's would be made in China, since Chinese manufactures mainly have access to those diodes, and H are made in SK most likely.

Naw, I didn't look. Where does it say the H's are made? I've heard that they can't really get them in China.
