DIY with Quantum Boards

More oral diarrhea from the blurple jedi.

You have no credibility here, let alone anything remotely approaching evidence of malfeasance. So you're just here to talk shit- is the ONE thing you're universally acknowledged to be good at.

I for one can't wait to get my grubby mitts on some of these and put 'em to work!

I'm expecting great things! Who knows? Maybe even a whole new perspective.
you are funny go grow some vert LEDs lol what a joke.

Pics or it's just another bullshit story from the blurple jedi.

Here's just one of many two pounders, loudmouth;

It's the one on the left of the lady who's two steps up a ladder to get that high in the pic;

Now do us all a favor and keep your trap shut long enough to learn something.

PS- I'm gonna do things with these quantum boards that will change the way things are grown indoors, punk. Now go play some techno in your blurple box or something.

@ttystikk I'm assuming you're talking to Yoda, today I realized I could put his ass on ignore and it has improved my brief time on RIU significantly. Also that vertical grow you just posted pictures of is really dope looking, are you gonna be running quantums in a vertical setup as well?
Yes, I realize it's a waste of time but it makes me feel better, much like taking a good shit.

Thank you, and yes I plan to run quantum boards on vertical trellis. I can't wait!

If you keep a grow journal, I will be on it like wildfire. Vertical is something I'm really interested in, and these quantum boards look so damn perfect. Until now I wasn't confident in my ability to grow with COBs in vertical without possibly bleaching or having hot spots (I see you used lenses to avoid that), but these quantum boards might push me into the vertical world.

I was just looking at this and thinking "holy shit, this is 174 pages long how am I gonna read this?". I'm gonna be doing some research for sure, thanks for the refs.

Wow.. lot of mudslinging going on and there's one thing that's for sure - seems like we don't have any grow journals with quantum boards or anything similar to that just yet. Myself I believe they may be a lot like the big 5 and 8u CFL bulbs which put out an excellent spectrum but suffer quite a bit of lumen loss past just a few inches. May just be the ticket however for veg lighting? We'll see, but for flowering I won't be holding my breath.

Still, major props to @robincnn for constantly pushing the envelope on led tech! This fact simply has to be acknowledged. Remember out of all the vendors he's always been the first to bring the latest and greatest gear to market. :clap: 8-)

One word for you regarding light intensity past a few inches;

LENSES.

how do these compare to the 3030?
3030 is a popular size and everyone makes them so cant generalize how better 561C is.
561C are 5630. Bigger and better than any 3030 i have seen.

Thanks for all the credit guys. I will take it as long as you all like the boards.
If you don't these boards.... don't forget this was a joint :bigjoint: collaboration with @Stephenj37826 :clap:

These boards do not have optics... but is still LED so light control is wayyy better than CFL

Some of this spillage is offset by the fact that these boards are very efficient. No sphere data yet.
Please IM me if you know any good place for sphere test that would not cost a fortune and would give fair results.

I am getting a old UFO and a 100x3 lamp Epi lamp next week and will try to fit these boards in. Will need new drivers for sure.
