DNA genetics Lemon Og Kush turned male not hermie

So my friend has 8 of them in flower. They ALL veged for 1 month under 24h cfl. There have been no light interruptions what so ever in flowering nor the light period has been tweaked. Why has one gone totally male not even hermie and two other appear to be going the same way just week and a half into flowering.
I think this is partly why i don't trust 'feminized' seeds however i always have heard too many good things about dna. Now hes got a scrog that he cant move plants to arrange better under lights and most likely about half his crop is gone to fuck. My friend is experienced enough to not be getting sexual discrepancies, plus the fact that at least one turned total male not even hermie makes me think that dna genetics has fucked up. Poor guy invested in a state of the art grow room with my help and advice (apart from seeds lol) and now he's not gonna eat properly until next crop is in...
Thoughts or other bad experiences with dna?
 
Trust me man I would get physical if someone disses dna disrespectfully in front of my face. They don't do regular seeds of this strain.
I told him to just grow a few seeds flower choose a couple of mum and take cuttings and then make a crop. But he just went straight ahead..
 
Same thing happened to me with there lemon OG and kandy kush, thought it was fat calyxs but once upon harvest it was seeds. Pissed rite the fuck off got over 3000 seeds(1ounce)
 
Ive had hermies with dna, never full on males, sounds like a f up at dna, stoners make mistakes, maybr you got some seeds you werent supposed to. Maybe they dont sell that in regs for a reason, maybe you have males that would b great for crossing.
 
bloody hell what a let down... Thankfully it's only the start i will tell him to keep a close eye..
 
Growing this now, basically are two phenos one that is more lemony and one more diesel. My lemony one has 7 blade fan leaves and other one is 5
 
I had a DNA fem Stacked Kush turn straight up male at flower last run. First time that I've had a fem do this to me. It's kind of a relief to see that it happened to others, figured it was on me somehow.
 
Females can turn male and vice versa. It's rare, but it can happen. It could be a valuable plant potentially for breeding, or it could be junk. But you would have to test it out to see.
 
getting same problems last 4 grows from dna genetis Lemon Og Skywalker og and og#18 all did the same thing herimie out with fucking nanars i grow some amazing shit from dna but last 4 grows all seeds im going crazy right now whole crop is fucked for the forth fucking time
