The NHL playoffs are fixing to start and I just wanted to see if we had any Hockey fans here on RIU.

Hockey has been my favorite sport for many years now...I love it :eyesmoke:

Hells yeah, but I'm Canadian, so it almost goes with out saying.

DOTS...........Flyers are in, starting the first round against the Sabres I think.

I'm in Detroit, so we've had our good times in hockey, I can't enjoy the game unless I'm watching it with other people though....kinda boring to watch alone....football I can watch by myself

I luv playing it, i played house and rep league when i was 12-14 but not so much watching it unless i'm at a live game

Same here, up to 17 years old. I set the league penalty minute record 2 years in a row. I actually got 26 minutes in penalties in one game. I got 3 - 2 minute penalties and 2 - 10 minute misconducts. On the second misconduct, they just booted me from the game. Just a fuckin goon.

I loved just slamming peeps. Actually KO'd one of my closest friends at the time. He tried ducking low and squeezing by me at my blue line, and I saw what he was doing.......cut hard and my hip squashed his head against the boards. He slid, face down into the corner......snoozin.

I wouldn't doubt if my penalty stats still hold first place to this day.............LOL

Hockey playoffs are the best time of year. Would be better though if they didn't change up all the rules, liked it more when they could hack and would fight more. And with playoff time comes the good old facewashes after the whistle.

Fuck yeah I like hockey. Played it for ten years. Don't play anymore, but I still watch all the canucks games. Toughest and most fast-paced sport around.

Watching hockey makes this whole NFL situation look even worse. Hockey makes the NFL look like golf.

Can't really say until it happens. What were they, seventh or eighth seed in '94 when they went to the finals? Nobody was probably expecting it then. I will say though that this year's team is the best one they've fielded in years.

True,true. I hope this is their year. It would be sweet after the Olympics and all.

ive been playing ice hockey since 2nd grade, i get offensive player of the year for 5 years straight on a team who goes to districts every year, i just got scouted by pennstate, and i might be gettin a scholarship to play there, hockeys my sport and its the best sport. i hope i make it in the nhl. i hope the rangers do good in the playoffs, at least i think theyre in if not caps nigga
