I agree with Dr. Greenhorn. Just don't lie when in a current relationship. When you feel comfortable speaking of your past your mate should accept that. In the end your in a relationship because you love your mate not the things they do.

I'm pretty close with my guy. We work well together. I was his first real girlfriend so I tell him, completely seriously, if he wants to stick it in another girl before we get married its fine by me. I don't want him getting curious later on in life. Anyway, he still chooses not to kick it with any other girls and I've never worried about him going off and doing any weird stuff otherwise. The only thing he 'hides' from me are the frozen custards he buys on the way home from work and doesn't get me one.

And I tell him everything now, I don't got time to beat around the bush with stuff anymore lol.

I think this was a mistake I made earlier in my life. I thought men might be capable of monogamy for life. What I learned is that many/some men consider sex sport and their having a bit of sport on the side doesn't hurt you. I wouldn't even notice. What I notice is when he turns his head away. Like Granny Weed said there are tells. Many tells when your man turns his head.

But humping a bimbo for a different flavor I hope he enjoys. It's no skin off my nose ;) Just gotta find the right guy. Who completely groks the difference between, love with commitment and eating out on occasion so to speak. Again I think I tend to fall a little further up the perv. scale than most tho.

When you are looking at serving life with another individual ya gotta try to be kind and flexible. Then again I'm about 30 in on a life term so my perspective is a lot of retrospective. I wish you the best with your guy. Maybe he is the one who can do monogamy. They are all different ;) thank heaven.

D'aw, you're so sweet~ thanks! :3 I find that being open minded and looking at all sides of a situation rather than jumping to conclusions helps avoids a lot of problems. He'd rather bother me 24/7 and not get any as opposed to going out and putting effort into tolerating another woman. I was actually the one who went out and got curious but it got old and now I'd rather kick it with a bong and a box of whale crackers. :bigjoint:

I also think we get along well also because I let him watch his porn and do man-things with him like work on our cars or something lol...

There's no reason to tell your SO every little detail of every little thing, but if you're hiding something because you're afraid of the consequences, you're fucked either way. A relationship relies wholeheartedly on trust, so if you're sneaking around doing things you shouldn't, you're just being plain disrespectful and shouldn't be in a relationship to begin with... oh, and you WILL get caught.. it's just a matter of time.

You can't really trust someone if you are guilty either. Atleast from my observations and experiences from when I wasnt such a good boyfriend as a young man.
For the record I ended up making a good husband once I found the right woman and grew up a bit.

What she doesnt know wont hurt her. Then again this attitude could be why my marriage didnt/isnt working out. I wasnt meant to be married anyway.

Haha I know exactly what you mean bro!

I was a dumb young kid, well I guess I'm still young but once I found my girl I knew she was the one. I wouldn't trade her for the world.

I tell my wife the truth about whatever particular topic happens to be being discussed at the moment, and no I don't hold anything back. Also, for the record, I'm one of those men who is not only capable of monogamy, but actually prefers it.
