Does anyone keep plants from seedling to finish flower in 12/12 the entire time?

I need to get one more grow in before I leave in January for a few months for work. I know it is possible to get a full grow from seedling to finish in 12/12 but what are the results? Lower yield doesn't worry me. I think a plant needs to mature before it can even flower if I am not mistaken. No clue how long that is. I have some finishing now for the next several weeks and I would like to put a few more plants in to finish by December 20. Keep them in 12/12 along with these will help that I am guessing.

Well since it won’t flower right away you might as well give them 18/6 for the first 2-3 weeks minimum so that you can increase the growth and give them some health before trying to make them produce buds. My opinion. You can probably still finish by December 20th.

I finish every plant, auto and photo on 12/12...... after 3 weeks 24/0 under T5...all are moved to a 700w of mixed led/cobs. I've done this perpetually for over 15 yrs...ain't missed a bowl of weed yet.

I’ve read that the plant needs to be about 5 weeks to flower.

so like he said you might as well run it 24/0 for at least 4 weeks to try and get some size.

You'd be better off doing this with clones, if you can some some. The only people I've heard doing this from seed are growing equatorial sativa landraces and trying to control height indoors.

I have I used to run 2 photos in a 3x3 and use the extra little room to grow other strains from seed. I like a variety of smoke, only pull about an ounce running from seed to harvest under 12/12 in a solo cup or half gallon starter pot. Not worth it if you're not running other plants with a good veg time
