Does anyone know why the buds on this plant are turning pink?

Hello, I have been growing this plant from bag seed since June 17th and now she is flowering 2 weeks in since determining the preflowers. This is an outdoors grow using worm castings and recycled soil as the base with some shake and feed 10-16-10 on the top soil. Other than that it has only used the rain and an occasional watering of 1 tablespoon of molasses to one gallon of water from the faucet. So my question or curiosity would be why are the white hairs turning this color? Could it be genetics? Since I do not know the strain I can't be sure. Let me know what you think and I appreciate the help. Thanks =).IMG_0745[1].jpgIMG_0752[1].jpgIMG_0746[1].jpgIMG_0749[1].jpgIMG_0750[1].jpgIMG_0751[1].jpg

A nutrient deficiency is a good guess too since it is an outdoor all natural grow. I'm glad someone thinks she looks good. The buds look too small to me.

Looks good bro. You've got a ways to go.. what parts you live at man..may have to finish indoors.......also I've never heard if a deficiency altering pistil color, pink pistils are good

Thanks. I am growing this plant in the northeast where the first frost nights are in October. She looks like she needs another month and a half so I'm stressing out over the weather holding out. If I had to bring her indoors I could only do it during dark period (night lol) since I don't have any lights that I could use or would be willing to purchase =/.

I've seen my share of plants in the northeast and the pink pistils are common. I'm guessing it's a temp thing

Agreed, no problem. I have a couple strains that have deep to light pink pistils and they are doin just fine, as yours appear to be :hump: Looks like you are a week or so behind where I am at, so early 2nd week maybe? Them buds will get bigger and denser. :weed:

Good luck

I wonder what color they would turn... I'd harvest some early. Would be some crazy bag appeal

It's a UV thing outdoors. I have the exact same clones going indoors and in the ground, indoors are white while outdoor pistils are pinkish red.

It could be any or all of these things. In my case, as mentioned, it's strain related, and it's really PINK........ :eyesmoke: I happen to think it's extremely sexy :weed:

IMG_0756[1].jpgIMG_0757[1].jpgIMG_0758[1].jpgIMG_0759[1].jpgHere she is today, still think she is teeny hehe =P. I like this pink thing she has going on though its kinda hot. I have been calling her Junebug because I started her in june but now I wanna rename her Miss Piggy because she's so pink :bigjoint:. I noticed a little bit of trichome development on some lower sugar leaves of one bud so I am stoked about that, anyways lemme know how she is coming along, got another cold night coming tomorrow its going to get to 48F at night but I think she will handle it. Cheers guys =).

A couple years ago I had a white widow with florescent pink hairs on the tips. It was pretty cool looking. They dried a reddish color. Did it get me more high?..nope...
but it sure was great for pictures.....:) I'll see if I can find a picture

ya see like i said it could be a strain or temp thing. OR a defiency. i had a plant with
pistils that turned pink 2 yrs ago. actually was out water my plants today
and found one had some pink hairs. im also in the northeast so could very much be a temp thing.
ill post the pic in a moment.
