does hobby lobby practice christian values?

but how can they have a "sincerely held" belief against abortion, specifically these four types of contraception, if they also profit off of them?

It is their religion and their right to follow it as they choose.

If people do not like it then they can choose not to work and/or shop there.

All the courts said was the government does not have the right to decide what is acceptable to someone's religious beliefs.

actually the SCOTUS outlined that the belief had to be "sincerely held".

are you gonna sit there and tell me their beliefs against plan B are "sincerely held" when they are profiting from it?

how long are you gonna blubber on about what people choose to talk about?

is their objection to abortion via birth control (an extremist interpretation) "sincerely held"?

because they buy all sorts of shit from china, which is supporting government mandated and coerced abortion.

they are also heavily invested (to the tunes of tens of millions of dollars) in companies that make birth control and abortion inducing drugs (by the non extremist interpretation).

so it appears that their beliefs are not "sincerely held" and that they should have to comply with the contraception coverage mandate.

amirite?

I sincerely believe that shitting on somebodies floor is a property right violation. amirite?

The same way that all mercenary self interests work. First you start a coercive government and redefine what the meaning of is, is.

Yes, I am going to tell you that.

Are you going to start a court case to prove that their beliefs are not "sincerely held"??

so you believe that their abortion stance is sincerely held as they profit from abortion inducing drugs?

don't be that stupid.

I dont have to believe it. It is THEIR faith. Not the Christian faith, nor the Muslim faith, nor any other faith. It is THEIR faith.

If you want to extend your argument to its total insanity then Hobby Lobby should not do business in America because abortion is legal...

I can completely understand the difference in providing 4 medicines that they believe contribute to abortion while allowing a dozen others to their employees and investing in the stock of a company that happens to create abortion drugs.

so it's totally understandable that they profit off of the very medicines that they deny covering to their employees?

plan B is so abhorrent that they need to sue over it, but not bad enough to stop making money on?

Your argument assumes that religious people are not allowed to be hypocritical.

I reject your premise

i assumed you would defend hypocrisy, it's one of your most cherished values.

You just pull this shit out of your ass with no evidence... Classic.

I am not anywhere near as intolerant as you.

You never let anything go...

My point about religious people not being required to be free of hypocrisy still stands.

if they're hypocrites about it, it doesn't seem very "sincerely held" to me, which is what it needs to be.

you're tolerant of casual bigotry but intolerant of when i point out that you're being a bigot.
