The problem in their community was street crime. Sets are basically gangs. They run whole blocks. They were targeting people in running cars stopping and copping dime bags off the street.
There is no law against me parking legally. And walking up the sidewalk and into a friends building.
What I would have done at my friends house was a crime. And if I was caught with the bundle it would have been a conviction.
It was not connected to what was happening outside in any way.
Instead I was grabbed off the sidewalk and included with the street roundup. And charged despite no evidence of any crime. And I had to accept it or go into Camden holding. I made the only possible decision. And they know it. They are robbing us under the guise of protect and serve.
