i'm the same way, i don't even think i could kill a cow i raised from a pup or kitten or w/e you call baby cows, unless of course i was starving and couldn't drive to a grocery store, then it's game on.

Honestly, before I would eat a dog or a cat, I, as a hunter/gatherer would focus my efforts on game that does not look at me with the intention of trying to understand me.....just sayin

Eating dogs is foolish as a dog CAN get you food ..that said Drunk as a skunk in Bali once I tried it.. the girl kept saying "You like dog" about 50 times I said yeah sure I like dogs...? lost in translation moment, I didn't see what she was getting at..? . ..bottom line.. its was greasy shit

the further up the ladder, the harder it gets. stepping on a bug, is not same as clubbing a seal, unless you are the Iceman, Ted Klukinski.

Again i get where youre coming from but i cant help but see it differently.
When one steps on a bug, most people are scared and grossed out by bugs think they carry cancers and hivs and other plagues most bug deaths caused volutarily by people are in some way self defense in their minds. No? but around those lines.
Now clubbign a seal could in no way happen in self defense scenario of any kind i think unless you really got ion their faces or something...
I really think that what species you are killing or how you kill it doesnt matter, you are still killing a fellow being. Whether its for money eating or protection. So i dont think theres no difference in killing a bug or a seal, only the circumstances of the event and the way death is induced are different.
Though i went tripping earlier today and could be on a weird loop and be making no sense. though it feels very right in my head
