I kind of miss having chickens and the old lady wants some cochin chickens... I may end up buying a dog kennel and using that a coop as im using my old one as the north wall of my garden these days.

Life is good bros! I may post a few pics of what's happening out back this year, but I won't be documenting everything like years past. But, I'll probably post a few pics along the way. I just didn't want you expecting another complete journal. Besides, I haven't changed anything. If you look at my past grows, I'm doing pretty much the same thing.
Here's a couple of follow-up picks to go with the video above.
And the last picture is what retirement looks like!

Here's to a happy growing season everyone:eyesmoke:

I had to take a picture of my carport.
In the winter those two trees lose their leaves and the sun is low in the sky and even if I only enclosed the back half of the carport, which would grow enough for me, it would work great...I think.
Most importantly..whaddaya think?
Hell yes!....that's perfect!!!.....go as big as you can, the plants will love the extra space......your set

I bought a clear carport top from these guys, & they sell clear tarps also. These tarps are much heaver than just plastic & are well made, should last for years. Your lucky to get 1 season from plastic. I would suggest buying a clear tarp big enough to cover the top. Use mesh for your walls.

WhooHoo‼.....I'll get to it when the weather cools off in the fall. I'll measure it and figure out what materials I'll need and get them for the first cool day.
Will you help me with what is a good strong plastic and fabric stuff?
Please...and thank you.

Not really, they are just clear reinforced plastic.
It looks like you could easily disassemble your frame & re-assemble it a smaller size by leaving out the bent poles, then cover it.....
Yes, hurricane force winds took off the original tarp the previous owners had on it. I just measured and there is 6' between the poles on the ground. I thought I'd replace the two bent poles. So I could enclose 18' x the width, about 15'. How many plants in something that size?

6 or 8 in nice big smart pots would do well in there.....or 24 smaller pots...

save those bent poles.....you might be able to make a set of short legs for your carport, would make for a nifty winter/spring light dep grow...

What about this season?....do it now
I have 10 growing, now. I will have grown more than enough for me...for this year and I'm a total wimp in the heat...but I can work like a field hand in cool weather. This will be my fall/winter project. I'll plan and order my supplies and wait for the weather to become more livable....
This is going to be awesome. Thank you for everything. :-D
