There we go. You'd have to figure out how to attach the zipper tarp to the more substantial tarp.... Maybe the zipper tarp could be glued to the other tarp. I could make that work because I can sew.
Over lap the tarps about 12" Gorilla Tape on the inside and Gorilla Tape on the outside. I use Gorilla Tape for my Light dep tarp. Works well.

I really wouldn't "need" a winter grow. It would be gluttony .. A lb a year would keep me happy. :-D
It's not about what you need. It's more about what you could have. And if you could have extra, why not? lol If you were to do a winter gh grow make sure the soil has great drainage so it doesn't stay too moist and invite fungus gnats and such. I had a bad fungus gnat problem in end of winter/early spring last year. You just increase the perlite in the soil and that will help them dry out faster.

I'll think about it.... greed vs need. :-)

you might be better off with spending your efforts indoors during the coldest days of winter, by plugging in a light & growing a few nice sized plants to place outside into your carport come March, for a decent spring light dep crop.......
That too. Could just over winter them in the greenhouse with supplemental lighting also, if you can keep it warm enough and don't have any area indoors for a grow. It's all circumstantial. Whatever floats your boat, right?

I am all in here...next season the carport grow is for me.Last season I had a great start, but made a huge mistake due to lack of start up budget we did not set up security and we paid the price. Some low life ripper cut my girls at the base of stem during middle of the night took the whole crop!even my bedroom is with in several feet of grow.
Stupid bastards cut plants in mid september?
This round in goes the bells and game camera and carport's.

ps...enjoy your grow's

I think I have had my Agricultural covering on the lid of my green house from Farmtek for 4 years now . I noticed the other day after the rain I have a hole from the sun wear. will be replacing this year.

Whazz-up Bitches?!!!

I won't be posting this years grow, but I haven't stopped growing. But I have a lot of friends here that I miss conversing with so I started this thread to have someplace to talk growing in carports.

For those that don't know me, I have been posting my grows here for many years but I took a year off from posting (long story). But I'm back, just not posting this years outdoor. Here's a short video from past year, to show a little of my carport method.

A couple of my past grows, in the links below.
I'll be around to answer questions.

Good luck & Happy Growing everyone
