Droopy leaves after first feeding

Taking all possible reasons she’s not perky
Plagron series 1/4 strength first feeding.. 150watt vivosun led 20” away, 77 degrees, 40-60% humidity ( I get a lot of humidity swing, could that be it?)
She’s not overwatered I waited till the pit was lighter than half a feather. Ppm was 540image.jpgimage.jpg

When the medium is saltier than the plant it draws moisture from the plant/ resulting in a drop.

What soil? Plagron?

Looks high in N so I would’ve of fed it. Now you have just stick to water.

don’t let it get bone dry, that can cause Dry/hotspots in your medium. Also a pain in the ass to water as the water will just through a pocket of soil and not really wet the pot.

I also found with plagron if u let it get too dry the pH can swing dramatically upwards.

I usually acclimate w/ only water before hitting em up w/ nutes, then go 1/2 feed and adjust gradually should be good in 2 or less weeks

The soil is a mix of ocean forest and happy frog.. my nutrients are plagron.. now that you mention it.. I Probably am suffering from a nitrogen toxicity.. I know the ocean forest is high in nitrogen already.. she is still growing at a strong pace so I don’t think she’s in bad shape.
I was taught to let it dry out so the roots stretch searching for water.. of course I don’t let it stay dry.. as soon as I feel like it’s light as it was before the watering I re-up. To avoid dry spots I just water slowly

I soak my medium before transplanting the seedlings.. so if you count the soaking as a watering, she was watered twice before adding

Its normal to have some droop after watering. They will perk up later in the day or the next day. That plant is getting to much nutrients. a saline root environment will not suck water out of the plants but will create osmotic shock and you will see extreme drooping not like this and nutrient deficiencies. The PH will drop as the medium dries out if there is a nutrient build up. I know nothing about this soil but if it is prefertilized you wont need to feed any nutes for a while definitely not until after transplant and depending what you transplant into maybe not even for a month after transplant. If it doesn't contain nutrients already then feed at 1/8. I would be feeding just water the next 2 waterings if the soil does not contain nutrients. Like i say if it does then water only

Well sounds like you’re doing the right thing - just no more feeds id say...

Okay I’ll go easier on the nutes for sure bongsmilie
I was really just trying to give her some extra juice because I’m mainlining and I know it’s good for the long run but it’s still really stressful on the plant,
I gave her terra grow base nutrient 2-1-3 at 1/4 strength and I won’t give her anymore of that since it has nitrogen in it.. but what about the additives? pure clean and power roots. The power roots is 0-0-1 which is just potassium and the pure clean is microbe food. Thanks for tuning in :weed:

Stress will lower nutrient needs a happy stress free plant eats the most. Mainlining is LST so your good there it wont apply. If that happy frog and ocean you need to add nothing to it. The only thing i would consider is a BB or myco. Don't fall into the hype of additives. We all love out plants and want to give them everything we can but honestly brother more is not better. With cannabis less is more in most cases and its far easier to correct a nutrient deficiency than a toxicity. I would water only for atleast 3 more weeks. If up potting to the same mix after transplant it likely they won't need any nutrients added at all for a month after that.

I’m hoping to go straight to 7 gallon pots.
The mix will be 60% happy frog, 40% happy frog

I’m starting to think she’s perfectly healthy honestly.. she’s not as perky as my other plant but she’s a whole lot bigger! They were germinated at the same time but she came out of the soil about two days ahead.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Yea it looks healthy for the most part. Looks like it's got a little leaf curl in the recent photos from maybe a little too many nutes, but no biggie. Maybe just cut back on the nutes a bit on that one

But look at that new growth though!!! That light green looks really healthy.. I haven’t fed the one on the right with nutes yet because the two plants are on different watering schedules.. But the one on the right Is perky but seems dark green on the new growth meaning nitrogen toxicity?? And the one on the left that I used nutes for looks healthier on the new growth despite the fan leaves drooping. Lol so which one is healthier?:wall:

I found I started going a bit mad trying to diagnose every slight fault in seedlings.

Most of the time minor issues are outgrown at the start - growing pains basically. Until the plant is mature enough and has a good symbiotic relationship with the soil.

As long as the grower checks the environment/soil all is done by the plant.

I knew I shoulda just bought that damn soil ph pen @Renfro told me about..
that’s the thing about leaving a bump in the road..
it’s still going to be there on the next lap :roll:

Something else you might want to consier.
I had a similar problem; couldn't figure out what the heck.

The room was getting too cold at night.
Check your room temp after the lights have been out for a few hours.

Just an idea.
