Treat it just like you would your harvested flushed buds.....hang to dry approx. 5-9 days depending on humidity, and then when crispy on the outside, but stems still slightly bendable, I put mine in a paper sack for another week or two to slow the drying process until the stems are thoroughly dry, then into a jar, burp daily until optimum humidity is reached....FYI the humidor 62% humidity packs keep your herb perfect in glass jars......your buds will slowly lose that grass smell and turn sweet.... give at least 30 days for best flavor.......hope this helps:mrgreen:

The reason the branch that broke off smells like grass is because the buds on that branch did'nt reach full maturity and the trichomes were probably something like a 50/50 clear to cloudy ratio. When buds are harvested before they are truely ripe and mature, which is based on a few factors BESIDES what the trichs look like, they will often have that grassy smell. If you continue to cure it properly though atleast most of that will dissipate and smell more like what your used to but the grassy smell will not completely go away. Let the rest of your plant fully ripen and you will notice the difference between your broken branch and the rest after you've cured.

If you can throw up some pics of your plant still growing could help let you know if you've reached/or reaching close to maturity. Don't need to see the trichs to tell you if your to that point.

As other have said, it was early. Harvesting may improve it some but enjoy what you have for now.

Judging by the undeveloped calyxes and the color of the hairs I'd say you have more than a good 3 weeks left to go on that plant

But i been growing the plant for 9 weeks already is it okay to keep growing it ?? for 3 more weeks ?
Yes, of course it is, some plants are finished in 8 weeks others take 12 or more, it just depends on many factors...strain, growing conditions, etc.... Don't go by how many weeks the plant has been growing, you have to judge by the trichomes...there's tons of information on the net and here on RIU that will help you judge when to harvest. It has most to do with what kind of high you want...do a little research and you'll be able to judge for yourself when she's done. BTW your plant looks fine, let her grow a little more...in the mean time, get yourself a microscope (less than 10 bucks on ebay) you'll be able to look at the trichomes much easier that way.

Good luck to you my friend!
