DVX first time grow

Well thought I'd post my progress so far since I've spent the last month or so reading on here and its helped so much.

I'm from Canada so it's legal to grow your own 4 plants so I ended up getting 4 clones off a friend for free and the original plan was just to grow them in my backyard. They are Cookie Kush indica strain and had very small roots when I got them. Put them in these coffee cans (bad idea I realise now) and moved them around inside and outside whenever they could get sun but stay above 70 degrees.

Well that didnt last long as the weather here was cold and wet most of June so instead of letting them die I bought a grow tent. 2x4 tent,600w viparspectra(100watt) and a viparspectra 450w (125w) burple lights off amazon and set up it. Had a few fans and carbon filter set up since first day as well. I had the lights at the very top and started an 18/6 hour schedule. I was running the lights in the day when I was at work and was getting too high of temps in the tent (90+) so I changed it to 5pm-11am. Much better now.

Have the plants in 10gal pots, I wish I did 5gal or 7 gal as they dont fit the greatest but I'm making it work. This is after one week of being outside/window sill

Bought General Hydroponics Floramicro, grow and bloom as well as calmag and started feeding them first water in the big pots.

My water is 250ppm and around ph7.8 so I'm using Ph downer. Now its 6 or sometimes 5.5

After wetting the soil with straight water 250ppm the first few feeds was around 400ppm as I used very little of each nute.

I messed up once and gave them 1250ppm once and got very small leaf burn. Got lucky

Now I give around 800ppm every other day (4gal of water, nutes altogether) or when soil isnt moist.

My stems are quite purple so maybe they are over fertilized?

They were a bit purple when I got them but maybe its strain genetics too?

Fast forward a few weeks til now and I convinced myself to change my lighting to a Quantium board LED instead of these amazon burple lights. Finally got it in the mail today. Looks great.
HLG QB 320w XL Rspec

Now 16 days in the tent they are looking great. 75-85 degrees and 50-60%humidity pretty consistent running at night with lights was a great move. Cheaper power too

I bought a Scrog and when I get it I will start to train them more. I have tried down a few branches but i hope this scrog helps fill out the canopy more.

I know it's a bit crowded but and I have about 25 inches of height left in the tent. I'm no going to let them get any taller in veg, just wider.

When should I go to flower now that I have the QB 320W? Not sure how much they will fill out in flower so I'm curious to your guys opinions

Light was a bit close first day. Showed signs of drooping so I backed the light off from 16 to 20".

Still didnt do much so after 6hr of darkness I'm at 24" from top of highest plant and they are back up loving it again.

Need to get these spaced out more quick as they are growing a lot everyday now.

Watered/feed 4gal water last night
800ppm, 6.25ph (tap water is 265 7.8ph)
FloraMicro, FloraGro, Calmag

Tent has been 55-62% humidity and 75° lights off and 84° lights on last few days.

Ok I kicked one girl outside as it's too crowded. Things are still bit tight. Going to fill out canopy bit more then switch to flower. At this rate it will be less than a week. I'm pretty impressed with this light, the plants are going ape shit now!

Watered again today as looked bit dry.
2.5gal 700ppm
Ph 6.25
Floramicro, Floragro, Calmag

Threw this scrog on quick to fill out a bit more and I cut a few big leaves off (needs more I know)

Going to fix the scrog tomorrow hopefully if I get time. It's working to keep the highest tops down but needs straightened up.

Should be flowering in less than a week. Soon as they get used to their new training. I'm noticing a lot of new growth everyday this week.

Well I switched to flower 3 days ago and plants have filled the tent nicely. Two plants have gone a shade lighter of green for some reason but for now I'm hoping it's just light adjustment.

Still feeding just Floramicro, gro and Calmag. 850-900ppm 6-6.5ph every few days (3gal)

Outdoor girl is loving life on her own.

Day 7 of flower

Plants have some good pistils starting and some top flower. Look a bit yellow today and I'm not sure why.

Been doing some light defoliate last few days, giving bud sites more light.

Added bud candy nutrient for first time yesturday, only 4ml for the 2 gal. 900ppm 6ph Floragro, bloom and 10ml of Calmag.

Day 10

Gave a good watering last night. Almost 4gal as I watered very slowly to be sure to saturate everything. Soil was almost bone dry but plants weren't showing it (4 days since last water)

Everything seems to be fighting each other for light now. They stretched a bit last night and look nice and healthy.

Day 21 of flower

Been giving them 2 gal of water every 2 days and it's just enough, Likely going to step it up to 3 gal every 2 days now as they are drinking lots. Buds are starting look pretty with lots of frost and white hairs going every direction.

Give 700-800ppm and 6.8ph
Floramicro gro and bloom. Bud candy, Big bud.

I suck at taking pictures.

Day 40! Still give them flora gro and bloom and just a touch of micro. Gypsum and bud candy. PH 6.75 600-700ppm everytime. Things looking good as they are getting big now.

Did a few ph soil slurry tests at 5.8ph so giving them 7 or 6.75ph the last few weeks. Pro mix soil is all over the place when it comes to ph level I find. O Well no real problems I dont think .

Day 49 and these girls are getting ripe!

Flushed all 3 plants 3 days ago until they were at 1000ppm or less. Will likely flush them again in a few days.

They are very dense and starting to droop over and need some support so I rigged up some twine and few yoyos I had.

I'm guessing 10-20 more days til chop but I see a bit of purple in the sugar leaves now.

Day 57. Flushed them 6 days ago and are drying out now. Starting to fade. Mostly cloudy trichomes and I'm going to chop in the next few days. They are so heavy and dense the plants flip around everywhere. Smells pretty awesome in there now.

Last pic is the outdoor girl and shes 3 weeks into flower now.
