DWC and air flow, An experiment in process!

Guys while reading this keep in mind I don't have the best attention span for writing things. Thanks!

Ok, so After experimenting with this I have found it works pretty good. For starters, I have seen some extra plant growth, and extra flower spots. I have only had this the way it is for about 4 days. Here is how I have it set up. I have my carbon filter attached to a 4" duct fan. and then I have the 4" duct fan going down to the top of my DWC tank. My DWC is made out of a 5" tall by 3' wide plastic container with lid. I have 5 Holes cut in the top for the baskets to sit in, 2 holes are empty due to one male, and the other for service (changing the water ect...). I was curious, and I had the duct before just blowing on my light and going down the wall and to the top of my cannopy. I also knew that more air on the roots would make the plants grow better, I usually would let the water stay out of the tank for about 4 or 5 minutes before replacing it to see an added growth after replacing the water. So this is when I added the duct to the empty hole and covered the service hole. To my surprise it worked. My plants started growing more. I will keep you guys updated. Also ask me any questions as I know I am not the best writer. Also I drew a picture for you guys. Oh on a side note guys, I have also notices more water evaporation from the DWC Tank, not much in my room but my room stays at about 74. So if you guys decide to try it out as well watch the water/nute level so you dont burn your plants.

Ok, so guys Its been another day, and another gallon of water but I have seen more improvements. On the girls, I have seen alot more resin glands, here are some pictures, sorry as it is a cheap cell camera, and I do not have any other to take the picture with. Also alot of views but no replies??? Maybe you guys think this is a bad idea? If so please tell me, but so far for me I have seen nothing but good out of this experiment.

looks like a pretty tight set up man. i just have a couple of questions on your set up though, how strongs the fan blowing into the reservoir? how big are your containers? and how much does your reservoir hold? I've been looking at a similar small container but am still kind of unsure about giving the plant room for root growth. Also, you mentioned you've seen more water evaporating, what has that done to your humidity in the container

The fan is a 4in inline duct fan made by EcoPlus with 160cfm, on the intake of this is the carbonfilter. My container is one of the sterlite's its the one thats about 5" deep and its 2'x3' it holds to the top 10gals of water, but i only fill with 3 to 4 gals to half way fill it, for my airstones, i have 2 of the 12' long air bricks you get at walmart for 3 bucks. I was originally planning on only veging in this but the plants were skinney, and looked like they wouldnt produce much, to my surprise they bushed out all over the place and I now wish they were spaced one hole more apart. As far as the root growth it they like to grow all the way down the airstone, and I have not seen any stunted growth in them. Now the humidity in the room has not changed to my surprise. As far as the humidity in the container goes it would be the same as the room because of the massive ammount of air going through it and up under the cannopy. There is 2 plants in there most of plant you see is a bag seed i planted that took over over half of the grow space. Now as far as the evaporation goes I add about a half to one gallon of water a day to it. I think its not evap at this point though but the plants drinking more as they seem to be growing more, and producing alot more tricomes. Thanks for the reply as well. I hope this thread can help people grow! Let me know if you have any more questions.
