Couldn't take it anymore. I have not known an accurate pH in my rez for about a month now. The ladies have been growing good, but I just wonder if they could be better. I checked my pH with meter and it read like 7 then I added some pH down and checked it again and it was 6.9. Not worth a damn, so I smashed it and ordered another one. I ordered one of the pH pens for like $20 to finish out this grow, but next time I'm gonna spend the money and get a Tri-Meter for like $150-200. Enough with the bullshit! I know I have been somewhat close, but I'd like to be dead on my mark with the pH.

ive been using a ph test kit and so far so good it is accurate cause I checked against the ph meter and both read the same... have you try one yet? it only takes an extra 30 sec.

Changed the rez yesterday after two weeks. I noticed 2 of my other airstones that have been in there since veg are not bubbling, so I'm gonna get another one and stick it in there. They are clogged up from a sandy substance, not slime. Oh well, nothing but a thing. I kept the PPM around the same, didn't wanna raise it and burn them. I added "Overdrive" to the rez this week. It says to use it weeks 5-6 and then the last two weeks. Mine are 8-9 weeks flowering time, so I may just run it in the rez thru the rest of the grow and the last 3-5 days run straight water. I may be wrong, but that is my plan anyways.
I cut a leaf from both plants and chewed on them a little. El Mon 1 is a sweet fruity taste and smell and the El Mon 2 is more minty and a little stronger taste.
I like the sweet taste myself. We shall see in the end!

beautiful as always in here dude. Yeah I know what you mean about the ph meters. I bought the basic model from hanna and if you sneeze wrong the damn thing loses calibration!
I never thought to chew on one of the leaves lol. might just pull a sugar leaf off one of my rbc later and give it a chew.

Thanks Niko! They are starting to smell really good with a sweet aroma!
I like to chew on the stems from time to time to give me a taste sample of the plant.
Even when I get some good bud I will chew on a stem if there is a big one in there.
My new pH meter should be in within a couple days. I'll have to see how far off I am with the pH.

Ive been wondering, if you chew on a thc covered leaf does it have any effect? like numbing the gum or something? Dude do you have a warranty on your ph meter?

I don't chew on the leaf. I prob have a warranty on it but I'm sure it's voided after being smashed. Lol. I got my new one in today but got home late and my light is off 7 pm til 7 am then comes on. So I'll have to check it tomo. I would really like to invest in the Tri-Meter tho.

Day 36 of 12/12:
El Mon 1 is budding up and forming together nicely into solid buds. El Mon 2 looks to be a little more airy but still some nice frosty buds.
I'm gonna get another airstone to put in there today. Load em up with more bubbles!
Ready to smoke these and taste the fruits of my labor..
