DAY 53 - Should i cut the lower buds off they look unhealthy.. and i feel like there crap ^^




This is the bottom, should i chop of some buds.... just to make the other buds bigger.. ?

for the most part you should only hack off parts of the plant before you start flowering, or at least not this far into the flowering period... shocks the plants

i would say they got a couple more weeks on em... thats just my personal opinion

yeah sure is like that man.... Im going for another 4 weeks.... ^^

by then the early cali will be huge ^^

hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ... I hope i get allot of weight of those buds... im gona sell that shit ! im hopin for 75 g's = 750 dollars street money....

gona get myself a new bathtub ^^

go for that good cue pee mayne, im sure you could freak it if you keep em dark three days prior to harvest... they supposed to do all of the growing during the dark period so how much weight u think they finna put on in three strait days of dark...?

Yeah the last week i will put them in the dark for 2 day's i was thinking, you said prior to harvest do u mean like 2 weeks before harvest 3 day's dark then carry on with the 12/12 shedule untill harvest, with the flush at the end....

naw, you keep em in the dark for the last three days of the flush. that way the plants aren't getting fed anymore and all the shit thats built up in em is gonna get used up to make more weight ya digg? more weight, more taste, aint nun wrong wid that mayne...

wouldnt that make the plant taste horrible ???? all the left over stuff is being fed to the top.... ?

naw, they use up all the built up nutrients because they arent getting anymore( flushing...) and in doing so eliminating the residual harshness of the fertilizers that alot of people mistake for potency. i have read that sugar or molasses will help expedite the process of breaking down and metabolizing the nutrients. then when you cut em, make sure they dont dry out too fast and be patient with curing them as well as this enhances potency and flavor. if they dry out too fast they will smoke very "green", and the telltale smells and tastes develope as the buds EVENLY lose the rest of their superfluous moisture. most of the smokeable attributes to the bud are gained post flowering.i know that i thot my grape krush was garbage when i cut em... then after they finished drying they smelled a lil better...then after about a month in the jars they tasted and smoked phenomenally. wid dem jars open em twice a day and dump out the buds for bout a couple minutes then pack em back up...
