If your lower leaves are turning yellow and falling off, it's not normal. That's just an excuse from people who don't want to improve.
If the lower leaves aren't turning yellow and falling off, you have enough N.
That being said, I've made a point in the past to reduce N in flowering as much as possible just to find the threshold for N deficiency, and I actually couldn't find the threshold. (in a DWC). NPK ratio of 1-3-3 was not a low enough N to cause N deficiency in flowering.
In a hydroponic setup, I'm starting to think that proper K:Ca:Mg ratio is more important than NPK, and that how we get N and P affects that K:Ca:Mg ratio. Using calcium nitrate to provide N will obviously raise Ca:Mg ratio while lowering K:Ca ratio. Using potassium nitrate increases K:Ca ratio. Adding monopotassium phospahte also boosts K:Ca ratio.

I don't want to hear people crying b******* complaining and arguing and calling each other idiots on my thread I asked a simple question and would like a simple answer. will dyna bloom+mag pro be enough with my soil . i run promix bx +myc & i feed with ewc+myc in a tea as a supplement. i only ask because im new to using dyna
Lol, simple answer is Chuck has said no less than 3000 times on this forum that foliage pro with nothing else in promix will beat anything. Simple search woulda told ya that

I agree with homebrewer here. Last run I used liquid Kool Bloom with Dyna-gro bloom, gro, protekt, and mag pro. The test subjects did not fair well, they made it through but not as well as the same clones which Kool Bloom was withheld. They were grown in 5 gallon buckets with 60% coco and 40% perlite. With as complete and concentrated as Dyna-gro is, I realy don't think its necessary or needed, at least from my results that is my conclusion.

I used to use mag pro, it is not needed. I have spoke to a few people on here who suggested it. Then I called dyna-gro themselves and they said you do not need it. So I gave it a try and it works. I would put you're mag pro on the shelf and enjoy the grow with the rest of the dyna line up.

never said it would beat anything, i just said the combination of the two is hard to beat. But my main point was to show that yellowing is not normal. and you should know that no one uses the search.
HP is just high porosity=more perlite
