i just got back from lowe's and they didnt have the hps light (go figure)....so i went to ace hardware and they closed just before i got there....so i'll just hit up ace tomorrow

yea i know...they are so much better than lowe's...but i dont know where the home depot is out here...lol....i'll try ace tomorrow cause now im bout to indulge in a steak and watch a few comedies...thanx for the advice though

Yea, but do you have the ballast for the bulb? I don't think those places sell those.

Lowes should of had them.. that's were I got mine.

Nope, they just carry the bulbs.

You will need something like this..

Yea bro..they can be even more then that..depending on which type you roll with. Some of the bulbs with full color spectrum can run as much as 100 dollars alone.

wow...i was checking out a mini floralux 150 watt hps...its $94.95...do you think that'll be enuff light to grow 12 plants on 12/12 from seed??

I'm sure it would grow, but I don't know how well. You will want lots of light on them. I'd go with at least a 400 watt system.

That system there has the ballast built into it I believe.

I was suppose to get my stimulus check Friday, but since I paid the processing fees or whatever, outa my tax return...I don't get it until late this summer. How fucking bogus is that shit!?!?

Yo man, hps can get expensive not only the initial cost but also on the power bill. Take a look at this(Amazon.com: Marijuana Buds for Less: Grow 8 oz. of Bud for Less Than $100: SeeMoreBuds: Books) with this book you can grow 8oz with less than $100. They sell it at most barnes & noble, and some other book stores. With that being said, IF i had the money an hps would probably be my first purchase

ive heard nothing but good..no great things about that book...i already ordered the hps so theres no turning back now....but my cfl's wont be forgotten!!...im still gonna use them for vegging and maybe even use them in addition to the hps

as soon as the hps arrives...still not sure when it'll arrive...my order is still under observation....im not waisting any time...im gonna grow at least 8 plants,max..however many i could fit in there..lol
