Yes, you can wash your buds!
People freak out about washing buds, but I find those that do, have never tried, and just have a blocker in the brain about it. If you do it right, then there is absolutely no harm, and IMO - only benefits.
Try this:
- Get 3 large containers / buckets (20L+)
In the first container, put fresh water and a 1/4 cup of lemon juice and 1/4 cup of baking soda - Mix really well (will foam up when ready)
In the second container - fill with fresh, slighty warm (tapid) water - this will rinse all residue off from container 1
In the third container - fill with fresh cool / cold water
Work your way gently with a slow wash, from the first container, moving the buds around enough to wash off anything that should not be there, over to the next container for a few gentle dunks and swishes (dont ever bump the sides) and finally onto the last cool container.
Once done get them straight in front of a fan with direct airflow and dry them out, before starting a normal drying process. Dont do this on a rainy / damp day, unless you have a proper drying room - drying your washed buds in the first few hours is critical to keeping everything healthy and happy.
