Lovin the LST Easy! Yeah man, once that stalk gets sturdy enough (which is weird because I never notice it growing, it was just big one day) you can just stick her head straight to the ground, it's always fun watching then work their way back up, persistent things!

she is putting out a nice aroma already. I was not expecting that. I need some smell cover up. I think GB uses ONA?

Yeah, I use ONA as much as possible. You have enough exhaust you can probably get some of the air filter carbon sheet replacements from lowes or home depot and place over your exhaust too. They last longer than ONA, but normally reduce exhaust and raise temps.

very true. i had these for my last dwc grow. with 2 filter sheets taped together it raised temps like 3 degrees

i will be using both. i have 2 ona blocks this will be in the case with one carbon filter sheet over the exhaust. should do the job. the company that makes the filter stuff is honeywell i believe. red and white box. like 11ish bucks at ace hardware. you can cut it to whatever size you want. hope that helped

very helpful thanks. I may start with the ONA and use the filters once the ONA stops working. I don't want to raise temps unless I know I have to. Man this little bitch puts off some smell.

RIU needs a live chat area or built in instant messaging. I am lost on technology, so I wouldn't know who to go about that.

What do you think it means if it smells as strong as it does at 16 days?

just a pheno of the plant. doesnt really mean anything good or bad just the genetics in the plant. if its bad now jsut wait for flowering lol

hey easy420, i was thinking bout you earlier. i think if you have another bagseed you should go ahead and germ it. i dont want you to be that upset if your main plant is a male. that happened on my first indoor and outdoor grow. i was pissed. still smoked the indoor and got that little "eye tingle" when i was out of bud for a long time. just a thought buddy. it can be a little discouraging at times.

oh, that instant messager thing would be helpful sometimes!!

Hey, love the grow so far,, just to comment on the high power cfls you are thinking of gettin.
I have a single 250w 2700k cfl, in long cylinder shape and it mighty hot. May if you have an active intake, or at least think, those holes are a great size and I really like the first box,
Abit short but stealthy.
Take it easy,.

Hey, Easy420, how's it? I like how you LST'ed your plant nice and early. That's cool. I should have done that lol. One thing I wanted to say, and I have no idea if this is true or not, I just thought of it: but be careful when sticking those tie downs into your soil. You plant is going to grow soo many roots that they will be all over the container. So by using a push pin style, you are at risk of cutting thru a root or 2 or 3. Just a thought. Have no idea if that happens or not lol.
Your plant is looking healthy. Good look, I will be checking back!

That's why I don't use the push pin on mine. I created a ring around the container, and I put rings on that ring, and use them as tie downs for my plant. You can see a pic of it on my grow journal, I think. Anyway, just wanted to offer an alternative lol.

Yes I think I will institute a tie down system. maybe with yarn and hooks on the sides of the wall? perhaps
