You wanna be careful, if you are gonna root cuttings, you should keep them on the same light schedule as the plant you cut it from, otherwise you will be trying to root it while the plant thinks it is supposed to start flowering.

I wont do a cut during flower and because of that I may give it another week in veg to get a little wider with more options to cut from.

I'd def give another week of veg after yo take cuttings to make sure their stress free when you induce those hormones! Good lookin cab bro nice to see people take time to do things right regardless of how many alterations. That's the fun part about all this!

Thank you Potentrx7. Yes, i was thinking definitely another week or so before flower 12/12. When should I perform my cutting/cloning? this weekend? Three nodes from the top was hat I thought I would do. any thoughts?

Well you could always take the top 3 nodes. cut and root at the bottom node set. Then your top growth would go crazy for the next 2-3 weeks and you should have a nice size clone.

Not sure I follow, but what I think you said was, cut just under the top third node, cut the bottom limb off gently pulling the skin down to my 45 degree angle cut, dip it in the hormone and place it in my soaked wool cube?

That way it would be almost caught up with the rest of the momma plant as momma has to start growing new top growth?

something like that?

Something like that, yeah. I thought you leave the little branch nubs on a little bit to help with rooting, but I have limited cloning experience. But right about taking cutting right below the 3rd node from the top and cutting the branches off of the bottom node, just not sure about how much of them to take.
